Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City West

Taste of the soap.

The fingernail marks throughout the room, including the toilet. Also the exhaust fan was loud. My neighbor had there exhaust fan on for 3 days. Seen him in the hallway carrying black contractor bags.

We stayed here because it was pet friendly and that it was!!! The facility is clean and the staff is phenomenal! THe breakfast is decent and the location is not far from the Boardwalk & Beach. It is located close to all fast food restaurants, stores & main road leading to beach.

The only downfall was the scent (pet smell) in the room from the wall to wall carpeting especially in the rooms that allow pets. In my opinion, those rooms should have laminate flooring. We stayed in other pet friendly hotels on our road trip and this was the only one that had carpeting in the rooms.

Location was good. The cleanliness is always good that's why we pick Hampton Inns. The woman who does the breakfast is exceptional.

We usually get a queen room, this executive king was the only one available. The room was odd. The faucets were too short for the sinks and flooded the counters. There was no place to hand your towel. The room was very dark with few light sources - esp important since it was on the back of the building. We paid a high price for the weekend and the value was not what we are used to at the Hampton Inns.

We were in Ocean City Maryland for a fishing trip and needed a room close to the dock. West Ocean City was a perfect location. We weren't concerned about having a beachfront or waterfront location so this was perfect for us.

Everything in Ocean City Maryland is overpriced. The room was clean and much bigger than I imagined by the pictures but the tub/shower was a bit dated and there was only a single light switch in the bathroom that controlled the light and the fan which was incredibly loud. It would have been nice to have that fan on a seperate circuit as well as having the sink/vanity lights independent of the overhead lights.

Liked pretty much everything, nicely updated and decorated, with the barn door and window shades, even extra hooks on the wall for hanging. Especially liked the step-in shower. Staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting local restaurants.

The chair in the room needs a pillow...the seat is too long and without a pillow, was uncomfortable. Also, the bed pillows were too soft. When we checked in, I specifically asked for a room not too far from the elevator. But we were assigned to room 400....the farthest room from the elevator!

great location. marshalls. cvs. restaurants ( carrabas & outback), a nice outside restaurant "sunset" grille close by. 5 min drive to downtown oc , "hooked" in oc downtown on 81st has great scallop fish & nice happy hour w food. this hotel has a nice decor. comfy bed. nice breakfast. pumpkin waffles (make your own) were tasty. we have stayed at comfort suites right next to this hotel. this one much nicer & only about $20 more. dumsers ice cream right next to hotel. nice coffee shop " rise up" close by. if u want off the beaten path of downtown this is perfect

Pool is NOT Heated, very Disappointed! The water was very COLD. Reported to the staff.

it was amazing the room was clean and beds was comfortable everything about this hotel was great the breakfast could had been a little better but it was still nice the set up and tables was nice and clean the staff was very nice i will say the pool was cold got in and got out but i will definitely stay here again

Location is nice - outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown, but close enough to be convenient. Parking is available and safe and the staff is always very nice and accommodating.

The price per night of all hotels/motels in-season in OCMD is completely ridiculous, especially given how OC has changed in recent years.

Everything and how clean the room was.

The hotel room was very clean comfortable beds lots of room to move around my kids enjoyed it so much. The pool was so clean and nice this hotel had so many stations to sanitize your hands and staff as I seen were constantly cleaning ,disinfecting and making sure and caring about people on this horrible covid time to be safe. Coffee and tea at all times. Stay was amazing great location right across the road was the outlets and food. Being it covid and all kinds of restrictions this hotel catered a good breakfast and the packaging of each meal was wonderful a blessed and wonderful stay here I will return.
