it was clean , decor was very inviting .

I can’t believe I had to pay an extra 64.00 for parking and resort fee . it was very upsetting to know I paid 752.00 for three nights and still had to pay to park my car there . such. rip off

Our room was incredibly clean ( it smelled so nice and there was no sand or any traces of anybody being there.. I spoke with the cleaning staff and told them how great of a job they did) and the front desk/ maintenance staff was super friendly. The place was pretty modern and quite vibrant compared to many places that I had been to when I was younger at Ocean City. The location is perfect and right on the boardwalk. The balcony was very nice.

The bed does make an odd sound whenever you move which can disturb sleep but I believe it is that way because of cleanliness reasons. That may be for all of the hotels; I wouldn't know because I am not a frequent Traveler but this was a very very minor issue.

Pros: -the ocean front view was really nice. I suggest reading the review of the room and making sure it’s 3rd floor and above if you want private balcony -the mini kitchen in the room had plates/cups/silverware/dish rack and dish soap provided by the hotel which was a nice touch -hotel offers free beach chair and beach umbrella rental which was unknown to us before we brought our own. -the private parking lot is nice it isn’t free though you pay a $21 fee that covers the parking, chairs, tv service, etc -the pool requires you to use your room key to get in for security but your key isn’t required anywhere else not sure if that is a pro or con depending how you look at it lol

-bed was super uncomfortable, for how much you pay to stay here I was actually surprised. It was very hard. Pillows are also square so if you’re a pillow person like me bring your own - the door to the room slams shut so you constantly hear other people’s doors slam but that’s the only time you hear others unless you have the balcony open. - they lock up the boardwalk entrance at 10pm so you have to walk around the block to the opening through the lobby. (Depends how you look at it could be a con, was kinda annoying but the safety is nice. But there’s no lobby security or no key card requiring you to use room key to open doors so anyone really could walk in anyway so not sure what the difference between a random person walking around vs walking through boardwalk entrance)

The Park Place Hotel is excellent hotel on the Ocean City Boardwalk! We stayed for 5 nights 6/25/23-6/30/23. I never right reviews, but here I am. We’ve been to many places. Ocean City and Park Place have been are favorite of boardwalk vacations. We had an ocean view room, it was a beautiful view. The beds were my only complaint. The beds in our room were very hard and tough on my back. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The room was a basic hotel room, two double beds, a pull out couch and a small sink, mini fridge and microwave. Compared to other stays we’ve had for instance down the boardwalk at the Holiday Inn is a full kitchen. But full kitchen, separate bedroom with a king bed is quite expensive there. We were ok with a basic hotel room this time, we knew what to expect. The staff was wonderful, the cleaning staff was wonderful. Often these days they do not service the room every day. Here, they do! We passed one day but they gladly gave us new towels and took our garbage. The Tilki Bar and the Bull on the Beach Restaurant connected to the hotel were great as well. Lastly, our reservation ended Thursday and we decided, quite late we would like stay another night if possible. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and while we had to move rooms (down the hall) we were able to stay another night. We didn’t mind moving we basically packed everything up and just took essentials down the hall and enjoyed what was our best day at the beach! As I mentioned the bed in the ocean view room were terribly hard for me, the beds in this room were so much softer and I had my best nights sleep. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! As for Ocean City itself, it’s a great family oriented place to be. The boardwalk is clean, not being able to smoke or drink on it (police all around) helps. The restaurants are great and there are a ton of tourist shops, mini golf etc. My family and I hope to return!

Literally just the beds. Bad beds, terrible hard in the ocean view room we had. When we moved rooms to a non ocean view room, oddly the beds were perfect! I think in paying the extra for the ocean view the beds would be better.

Love the location, direct access to the beach, and the complimentary beach chairs each day!! Love the view.

Lots of stains (window curtain, shower curtain, chairs, floor, etc), and lots of broken things (trim at the sink, lamp between the beds), and electrical socket covers were very loose (which is dangerous) and the one between the beds wouldn’t even work. Coffee maker leaked badly. We couldn’t leave our screen door open or enjoy the patio due to smoking below at the tiki bar deck. It filled our room with the smell of smoke.

The room was comfortable and very clean. Every interaction with staff was great. They were very pleasant and helpful. The heated outdoor pool was a major bonus (as the highs were only in the upper 60's/low 70's during my stay)! The pool location is nice as well, its not on ground level so you have privacy from the general street view. The hotel location is perfect for taking a stroll on the boardwalk, hitting the beach or having fun at the arcades and on rides. Many food and shopping options within a 1-2 minute walk.

There wasn't really anything bad! The lights in the room are a bit dim but that's it honestly.

Balcony was slightly small which made it uncomfortable to sit on and relax. Water temperature in the shower seemed to fluctuate during different times of the day.. The two pools side by side was actually a bother trying to keep an eye on my little girls, or getting them to both choose the same one..

Perfect location!! Right on the boardwalk, close to the amusement parks, walking distance to everything. Loved that there were 2 pools. Wish there was a hot tub but still a nice beach hotel.

The pool closed at 9pm! For summer weekends, that seemed early so we never got to night swim which my kids really wanted to do because the pool is all lit up and pretty at night. Also, they closed the boardwalk entrance on us and we had to walk around to the front. The employee wouldn’t let us in.

The hotel location is ideal and has access to the boardwalk. The size of the room was perfect- having a couch & kitchenette was perfect!!! Loved the kitchenette!

The linen room/closet for housekeeping was next door to my room. Any movement in the linen room/closet was well heard in my room. Also not sure how to access the 1st floor from the stairwell. Had to go back up to the 2nd floor to get out either to the boardwalk & to use the elevator to go to the parking lot. If there was a staircase that leads to the parking lot & 1st floor, I did not see it labeled clearly.

parking spaces are really small. people park over the line so only one car can fit. people were outside chasing you down to see if you had a parking sticker. Couldn’t not even understand what they were asking. People were coming in from the beach directly to the pool and getting in the pool with sand all over them. You couldn’t even see to the bottom of the pool and it felt like you were walking in the ocean with all the sand in the pools. The elevators were very slow and vacuuming the elevators at peak times is not a good thing.
