Fourth year at this Location, Like that it's not in the main stream of the busiest part of the Beach (It's on the beach but far from all the large Crowds of People ..) It's Pet Friendly 😀 they give you pamphlets on information for your pets visit as in vets ,pet friendly restaurants ect .. that was the main reason ,we came to this hotel each year😀

Also was Upset they wouldn't take My AARP discount at the Main Desk( they did last year 🤔) & said something about the old Manager wasn't there anymore and I had to do that through Booking.com Will have to contact Booking.com.to

The room is clean and big enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. Looks like it was recently renovated. The floor isn't carpet, which is much better than carpet especially for when kids are all wet from the beach/pool. Location is good, by the beach and on boardwalk.

The room has a tiny step from the entrance and bed area that is the same color as the floor. The kids tripped a couple times each before they learned. Could be dangerous for someone and should be painted a different color. There was no warning sign either. Sofa bed mattress keeps falling through the frame at the corners, even for the one kid.

Wow, what a great last-minute find! The room had a perfect full oceanfront view in a great location. It's about 4 blocks from the end of the boardwalk(on 24th Street), so it's more quiet. There is a restaurant right next to the pool and they play good music all day(not too loud), so it's really fun. You can eat outside or inside. The lobby offers free coffee all day, and it's really good coffee, too. The hotel only has 5 floors, so it doesn't take long to use the elevator. They keep the grounds and rooms very clean. The parking is ground level, so it's a shorter walk to the hotel. The front desk staff are so great! They personally text you throughout your stay to see if you need or want anything. As soon as I texted them, they immediately accommodated my request. I'm going to stay here again!

Loved the convenience of it being right on the boardwalk and beach. Especially with having our children with us. Room was clean and staff was super great with meeting our needs and evening getting all that extra sand off the floors!!

What I didnt like was how you could hear everything within your room from other rooms. Footsteps/banging noises above us. We could also hear a families screaming baby around midnight when they returned back to their rooms. It was like we were with them. Little odds and ends things were broken in the bathroom but nothing that really upset us. Just visual things.

The staff were always kind and professional. Also, I'm bigger and have mobility issues. I never felt judged or anything. Made my stay more pleasant.

Well, the handicapped room was pretty far (for me) from the main office and parking lot. This is certainly not the staff's fault. It is how a lot of hotels are designed. I wish these rooms were closer, had a little more counter space in the bathroom along with special non-slip flooring or mats. The tile in the bathroom was pretty slick when wet. Also, I don't know if any hotels could incorporate this, having a recliner in rooms instead of 2 desk chairs would be such a plus. I sleep in a recliner due to back issues. I make due wherever I go, but never get the best sleep in a bed. Room service would be a nice feature too, but that is so far down the list of anything I really think would help improve Howard Johnson by Wyndham.

I love the new updates. The new flooring is much better than the old carpet. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. They have a restaurant that was open for breakfast. We went down one morning for breakfast and it was pretty good. Prices were pretty reasonable.

I had an ant problem. This is the second time I've had a problem with them. I was on the 4th floor so I have no clue where they were coming from. The walls do seem kind of thin I could hear every word my neighbors were saying.

The rooms were very cozy and clean. I liked that they accepted pets. I also liked that it was the quieter part of the boardwalk. It felt very safe and everyone seemed friendly.

The hotel was great, but i would recommend going later in the year so that the ocean water is warmed up. Also I probably wouldn't go in June again because of all the seniors graduating highschool come to the boardwalk and they can get a bit rowdy and act like typical teenagers.

I liked the location. Was quite comfortable in room. I especially like the small kitchenette area. Parking was very good. Room was clean and pretty well kept.

The only negative was the really small negative was the really small bathroom. Also the fact that there was just one ice machine located on first floor Although I had no problem getting ice since it was off season I imagine it might be an issue during the high season.

The location was excellent and the beds were very comfortable.. Checking in and out was quick and efficient.

There was a small step from the bedroom to the bathroom which is dangerous. The bathroom was extremely tiny. There was a hair dryer on the wall which we couldn't get to work. It tripped the reset button every time and it took 45 minutes to get it to work.
