Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown

All the Staff were so kind to us! Michael who took care of us at breakfast every morning was especially great! He gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities and was a real pleasure to talk to! The daily housekeeping was a great plus as well. The day of our departure the housekeeper even helped us with our luggage to the elevator and down to the lobby!

We had booked a king bed room well in advance, when we checked in they didn't have any and put us into a room with two double beds. The room was okay but we would have much preferred the type of room we had originally booked.

It was very clean, easy getting in and out. We used the valet services and it so easy, had our car in minutes. Valet staff were really nice and friendly. We have to give a shout out to Marco on front desk, he was extremely helpful and very friendly. We asked him so questions about Boston and he took the time and told us everything we asked him. Everyone was nice there actually. Hotel was very close to Subway closer than we thought, which was amazing so much cheaper than Uber and taxis. close to shopping and restaurants and all in walking distance as well!

We didn’t spend a lot of time there but when we did the channels on the tv didn’t work. Saturday night the noise from the bar next door was pretty loud. Overall there was nothing I didn’t like about the hotel.

Everything was fine : warm welcome and room ready for us at 3:00 which we appreciated. Very good comfort both in room and bathroom. Excellent service at breakfast too. Bonus : we left our bags at reception for the afternoon and collected them later, for a free-hands afternoon.

All was perfect. Price of course... always very high in big cities : Boston was no exception.

I arrived at the hotel at 2:00am in the morning. Unfortunately, the hotel's payment system doesn't use a chip reader for their credit cards. You need to swipe the card to read the magnetic strip. My credit card company declined the transaction since I was paying for an entire week and there was no chip to verify my credit card and, of course, I had to wait until the morning to talk to someone in their fraud department. It's the year 2021. Can you please get with the program and stop using technology from the 1980s?

Great location, close to everything. Room was cleaned and staff was very friendly, it was a great price for the room.

Due to bars being next door on each side, there was a lot of drunk people and fights, the security of both the hotel and bars handled it real quick. The renovations is making the hotel not appealing on the outside.

The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the event we were down there for, within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. The price was reasonable.

The view could have been better, but we were really only in our room to sleep, so it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Everything was new and renovated clean. The location was great especially since I was going to my son's graduation from Emerson. Again Location!

Cost - But on monther's day graduation time in Boston have to expect it.

Very happy with our stay. Booked a big corner room with a view over the city, travelling with two kids. Met friendly staff in the lobby and during breakfast. The hotel is well located, close to subways, Common and Public garden and shopping streets. Me and my family had a lovely stay!

The cleanliness, view, and location were amazing. Everything was within walking distance, (not athletic but I’m always on my feet, the nice places I went to took at most a half hour to get to.) When I would get tired, I’d go back to my room and watch YouTube on the big screen. I really love that they had a smart tv.

I wish there was at least a mini fridge in my room. I would bring food back but would have to eat it before the day ended so it wouldn’t go bad. A microwave would be an extra plus though I know that’s probably more difficult.

Good location to get to numerous downtown locations (inc the subway lines). Good restaurants near by for variety of food options. Corner Room was clean and a decent size.

Lack of room service. In lobby “Starbucks” closes pretty early in the day, nothing available in the afternoon.
