Hampton Inn & Suites Boston/Waltham

The size of room really fit my family of 6. The view was very nice waking up to in the morning. Additionally, there were a lot of amenities such as a pool, a gym, and free breakfast. The price for our 2 night stay was also very affordable and we liked it a lot. Overall I would definitely recommend a friend to stay here if he is traveling.

Our trip was primarily to visit some schools in Cambridge and with a lot of expensive options in the city, we had to opt to somewhere far from the city. Although this hotel was amazing, it was a bit far from schools like MIT and Harvard.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. I found it nice to be some where new and automatically feel safe and comfortable. I also liked that they had a a whole list of information and local eats printed for me to look at. Breakfast was also amazing along with my room.

I really don’t have anything bad to say, but I would suggest that the person who is in charge of the pool to maintenance it when there isn’t anyone there. I went on my second night after my shower and there were was a mom with her family and her three little ones. The man in charge started to maintenance the pool with all of us there and the room became absolutely uncomfortable and unbearable to be in, the woman and her family began to cough for air, and my eyes burned/teared up and it felt hard to breathe. Even wetting a towel didn’t offer any relief so I ended up leaving shortly after the family did. I understand the need to keep it clean but I think there was too much chlorine and whatever other chemicals added at once.

The front desk agent David was kind and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and room was set to a comfortable temperature on the thermostat when I arrived. There was a fridge in the room Breakfast had variety and slight change on items each day. Staff kept items replenished which was good. The fitness center was nice although the pull.up bar was a little short so i couldn't use it. Good distance from location I was going to. The hotel had a bar.

The bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned. There was long lady's hairs on the shower curtain in different areas that i had to remove myself. No microwave in the room, which is odd because most Hampton Inn's I go to have one in the rooms. The thermostat wouldn't warm the room fast enough when changing the temperature on Heat for the cold nights. Thankfully I had the covers to help. Price of room was very high for a Monday and Tuesday stayover.. The scrambled eggs at breaksfast looked runny and tray was a little watery. I had to ask for the complimentary bottled water usually offered at check in for guests.

It’s my “go to” place when I need a break. It’s very clean, a comfortable atmosphere and the staff is excellent. The breakfast set up is a great option and the food tastes good and fresh.

I’ve only ever had an annoyance in all the times I’ve stayed there. The room above me sounded like children running around and jumping off the bed until 11pm one night. It was quiet after that and until I checked out for the day. It’s still my favorite place.

Comfortable, Clean, nice breakfast...added night light to bathroom is awesome.

Some of the design elements could be better. DO NOT like the sink faucet. If you are washing your face, you can hit it on the faucet. You have to move to either side of it and make a mess on the counter. Also the pulls for the window blinds should be on the side that is not covered in curtains. Having to fight through the sheers to find the pulls is annoying.

Breakfast was good—can never go wrong with waffles and having two different size options was nice! Maybe more variety of fresh fruit could be offered—I missed my morning banana. The fitness center was also nice—clean and spacious with multiple options of cardio and weight equipment.

More variety of healthy options for breakfast. Also one of the three treadmills wasn’t working. But overall no major complaints.

Room and bathroom was very clean, just the right size, modern interior. Fridge in the room, no microwave but we didn't miss it. Bed was very comfortable, tv was the right size for the room. Breakfast had great selections, a couple of minor blips on both days. At check-in I made a special request and the check-in staff was quick to accommodate. Helpful and friendly staff!

The only complaint we had is the guest above our room was walking (exercising?) very loudly, well into (after 12 am) the night. This however, was not the hotel's fault!

A very clean & comfortable stay. Loved how big & spacious the room & bathroom was, bed was very comfortable, nice & quiet surroundings, for an affordable price. I stayed one night & did not use any of the amenities but I will definitely be staying here in the future.

Our TV was broken. Along the bottom of the screen it kept glitching & had a static look going on. But still watchable & eventually you didn't even notice it.

This hotel was conveniently located for my trip although difficult to find in the dark when I first arrived. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The gentleman that checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. I do not eat most of the breakfast offerings but there was some fresh fruit and plain oatmeal so that was good.

The bed was comfortable but not the pillows. So flat with no support.

Excellent location to commute to Boston or Metro West suburbs. The room was extremely clean and the staff is super friendly!

Unfortunately, there was a very low supply of snacks and toiletries in the hotel store, so we had to do a few deliveries from DoorDash for essentials. When we checked in (late though)- we were not given any explanation of the floor we were on/room location, breakfast time, or any other information about our stay. I think this was due to us checking in at midnight.
