This is a bright, modern update of an older building, in the center of a small city. I liked its location next to a rail trail and a pub in the former train station. Lots of art by local artists on display. On weekdays, a diverse and plentiful cold self-serve breakfast. Our host was very attentive.

A small matter: We were told to expect an email with instructions about how to access our room. Never came. It turned out they had sent a text, which we did not find till we were standing at the door. I had not been monitoring texts.

During our 2-night visit to Adams, we stayed at the 'Greek Room' at The Trail. Once we entered the living room, we immediately felt the artistic flair and cultural theme, which was a wonderful extension to the rooms. Our room has a blue hue from floor to the ceiling, and the bathroom was very modern. There was a clear focus on using locally sourced products and sustainable items, which was great to see for a small town.

If you are arriving after-hours, you might have a difficult time finding the side entrance. Speaking of which, pulling your roller bags to the side entrance might be a struggle due to the rocky driveway. But the luggage pain doesn't end there. Once inside, you have to carry your heavy luggage up a steep flight of stairs (if you're room happens to be upstairs); but they do have rooms on the main floor, so make sure to ask.

Clean. Friendly staff. Large common areas. Laundry machines available. Kitchen available and stocked with usual items. Good location - good restaurant right next door, running/biking trail just out the back.

Parking - not really a problem, but it is either on street or parking in the lot for the restaurant next door. No breakfast - but there is access to the kitchen that is stocked with some things.

Convenient to town and right next door to a restaurant.

Parking was spread out. No real parking at property (although they were kind enough to let us use the driveway.) Most people either had to park next door in the restaurant’s lot (which was full when we arrived on a Friday early evening). Or behind on the street. No big deal, but that was somewhat confusing at first due to the first long line of parking spaces being reserved.

We loved our experience at Berkshires’ Art Hotel. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and the common areas filled with unique local art and books from MASS MoCa provided all the entertainment we needed. Selection of coffees, and breakfast selections were top-notch and our host, Kate, could not have been more wonderful and accommodating. We’re looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

Address very convenient so close to the mountains we wanted to visit and the bar next door helped us watching live sports. They do care a lot about offering all natural products, toiletries free of chemicals, Nana was always amazing replying my texts with help, very efficient and caring. Never saw a checking process so easy before, cery laid back and easy going.

I want to start saying me and my boyfriend are very light sleepers so we are used to completely dark and silent room to sleep. I wish I was better prepared for the fact the room has absolutely no sound isolation, from our room we could hear every step from other guests on the hallway and stairs and even guests coughing inside their rooms or opening and closing their doors, nothing to blame on anyone, I think all guests were very respectful of noise but the closed door just doesn't make any difference as to reducing any sound. The gaps around the door make it so the hallway light goes ringt into the room straight on my pillow at night. None of this would bother someone that sleeps heavily.

Very artsy and young vibe. Enjoyed that.

The room had an artwork above the bed, but no headboard. That meant if you wanted to sit in bed and read a book you could not as you would lean against the art work, hurting your back and/or damaging the piece. I suggest a headbord and to raise the artwork above the headboard.

Wonderfully quiet and beautiful decor. The oversized soaking tub was delightful and having morning coffee on the porch was lovely. As warned, the property is (as of April 2023) under renovation, so signs of construction were evident in public areas of the inn, which was not a problem for us.

There was a little unevenness in communication, although I expect as the new owners find their stride that will improve. It was quickly and competently resolved.

When driving into town and seeing the hotel from a distance, I was very weary. Once inside, I was totally surprised. Our room and common area were very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked.

Not much going on in town.

Beautiful house, beautiful rooms.

Breakfast promised but nothing there except for a thermos of coffee and some sugary stuff on the counter. That needs improvement. Also, there should be somebody there in the morning taking care of guests having breakfast. Why the high price if there is no service to speak of?
