Bavarian Inn Lodge

I was pleasantly surprised by how kid friendly the inn is, I will definitely bring my grandkids here. Love the adults only pool and spa. Beds were extremely comfortable.

So, here we go: we checked in, got our cards, unpacked in room 251. Went to eat came back, cards did not work, front desk insisted we were trying to enter wrong room, went to room 254, supposed to be our “correct” room and our room was empty! No suitcases, clothes, etc. front desk seemed suspicious of us so we asked for MOD. Steve is a treasure!!!, opened room 251 and there was our stuff! How we got in is still a mystery but Steve helped us move to room 254. Give him a raise. BTW, when we first entered room 251, there was a pair of undies on floor.

All the furniture in the room was really nice. Bed and pillows very comfy. Leather couch was super comfortable. The rain shower and the whirlpool bath were heavenly. Each room has its own specific name, which I realized must be German surnames. Then I happily discovered a book in a drawer that had info about each of the hotel's surnames. Very cool 😎

Need sign posts in parking lot so you know where you parked. Need "open" buttons on entrance/exit doors for those with mobility issues and for when trying to maneuver a full luggage cart and can't open the door! I was unhappily surprised at the lack of the these above things :(

Great atmosphere. Love the fun center and Bavarian decor.

We love staying at the Bavarian Inn. My only "complaint" is they need to have a quiet place for adults to enjoy. We went to the Lorelei lounge at 7:00 pm for a nice break from the noise, but arrived to find a huge kids' party going on with musical chairs and loud obnoxious music. We get it, bavarian inn is a great place for family fun, but there's plenty of places for that. Please give adults some quiet spots to enjoy too.

Lots of fun things to do for the family. Our son especially loves the indoor mini golf and the waterslides. The arcade is fun. The village for shopping is a quick walk from the hotel.

The beds are a little small and uncomfortable. They should invest in better quality mattresses. And also microwaves in the rooms would be great. We always had leftovers in the fridge but no way to warm them up.

We loved the kids game areas and mini golf. The kids had a blast at the slides and pools and we enjoyed the whirlpool. Mini golf price was very reasonable and we loved the availability of pizza!

We would have loved a coffee pot in our room, seems like a small complimentary option for the premium price of the rooms. The games were kind of expensive, more than I had imagined they should be. We initially had difficulty finding things, there should have been more maps of the hotel areas hung around in hall ways - elevator areas, etc.

It is a great place to stay with kids. Plenty of pools, 2 water slides, and good size jacuzzis. An arcade and mini golf too. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Close to everything in town.

I understand it was spring break week and a sold out hotel with tons of kids. But I didn’t like that we could not connect to wi fi the whole time we were there. Called the front desk to be told that the internet is overloaded due to the hotel being busy. I think the hotel needs to increase their capabilities for internet in a full hotel. Also, the amount of chlorine in the pools/jacuzzis was to me at toxic levels. Our eyes were burning and I had a headache/felt nauseous from breathing it in. Had to take breaks from the pool just to breathe in some fresh air.

I somehow had no idea I booked a hotel with so many fun things to do--the arcade, restaurants, gift shops, water slides, etc. I just thought I was booking a hotel with a pool for my family. What a nice surprise to learn that it was such a fun place. My kids LOVED it and want to go back. I loved it too, and tried to make reservations for next year but am not able to do that yet (the website says that no rooms are available, so I'm not sure if maybe that's just because they don't do reservations too far out?). Regardless, it was so fun AND I was impressed with how clean it was. It's an older hotel (it seems) but has some nice updates. The room was PERFECT sized for my 5-person family. Overall, I was just really impressed.

The prices of food/drinks/snacks. It was higher than normal, which is to be expected, but it was MUCH higher than normal. I loved that you could buy drinks, meals, and snacks without even leaving the hotel but wish the prices weren't quite so much. Next time we'll definitely bring in our own snacks and drinks.

convenient location with enough to do inside the property that you could spend your entire trip at the hotel and still have plenty to do.

this place is geared towards families so it was very crowded with small children. the “adult only” pool area often had guests with their kids due to the family area being crowded and staff does not enforce the area as adult only. the hot tub does not get very hot. pool towels are only slightly larger than hand towels. arcade is very expensive and expect to pay about 20% more for food at the on-site restaurants for dishes that are just okay. it’s convenient having dining and such on site, but it comes at a cost. some of the balconies connect and multiple times I had another guest sitting outside my window being loud and even looking into my room.

Central location. Easy walk to everything the town has to offer or convenient shuttle service at hotel.

I have only one complaint and that is there was something spilled on the floor lamp in our room. I notified one of the cleaning staff that was in the hall at the time and asked that it be wiped down. Cleaning staff never entered our room our entire stay so the floor lamp was left dirty.

The amenities were great. The kids loved the pools, waterslides, and arcade. The coffee machines were excellent! The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Sunday brunch was delicious. The location to shops was perfect.

The room was small and outdated. No fans in the bathroom. We had a huge deck and would have used it more had there been more chairs and maybe some side tables.
