Hampton Inn Gaylord

The only thing I did not like was the breakfast. I used to come to this type of hotel and be able to get a filling breakfast that was suitable for a diet restricted diabetic. IE Eggs, bacon/sausage (regular not maple syrup flavored). That last 2 times I have stayed at a Hilton, the eggs were omelets which are fairly okay, but the meat choice has been not suitable for my kind of diabetes. Not at yours, but at a previous Hilton visit, I asked the cooks about plain scrambled eggs and would told it would take a half hour and I could tell I was putting them out. I think this will be my last visit to a hilton, because I cannot get a filling breakfast that I can eat. Everything else was great.

1st Day there was quite a leak from tub but responsiveness was excellent and plumber fixed issue! The front desk was always very friendly.

No microwave in room! That was too bad since we'd brought back food for the refrigerator. It was hard to understand the housekeeping policy. We could let front desk know if we WANTED maid service but facility lacked details like: What time do they need to know if we want maid service and when we asked from desk they asked us, "What do you want?" This took us aback, like, we want what every other hotel provides when they do maid service (make bed, replace towels, tidy up where needed, vacuum, etc.). I guess i just don't understand the policy. Breakfast on the weekend was good but perhaps i missed the memo on Monday as it seemed things were closing up by 9 (vs. 10 on the weekend).

Add more bread options with breakfast such as toast, bagels, etc besides only waffles.

Our stay at Hampton inn was great. The whole facility was very clean the woman at the desk was very helpful at check in and out. The pool was clean and perfect temp. Breakfast was great. Heat in our room worked great and beds and room were clean and comfortable. We’ve stayed here twice and will continue to do so whenever we are in the area.

Room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was hot with items rotated each day. Also included fruit and quality yogurt, Not just a bunch of cheap carbs like most hotels.

It took 2 days for the parking lot to be plowed. Other hotels had their lots plowed the same day it snowed.

Everything was just fine. Comfortable beds and very quiet.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired! No cereals, no bread for toast, no bagels, no fruit. Was very disappointed!

Our room was clean and conveniently located close to our destination. The security lock accidentally engaged in our room, so we were locked out, but the staff was prompt to fix the issue, so we could get back into our room.

Seal around the toilet was coming off which made the toilet wobbly.

We have stayed at two different Hampton Inn locations 2x this year. The breakfast that Hampton now serves seems so impersonal. Very cheapish for a hotel chain such as Hampton Inn. We stayed at a different hotel on our way home. They actually had options for breakfast, including scrambled eggs and toast. Nothing fancy, but much better than just a sealed bag.

Our room was exceptionally clean and updated. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of food choices. Staff was very friendly and the fitness room was nice!

It cost a bit more than we expected. But still enjoyed the lovely place. Beds were very comfortable
