Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rochester South, MN

The Breakfast was good and hot, your basic waffle, sausage, egg, hashbrown, bagel, cereal. Was there for 6 nights and menu didn't change. would have liked to of had it switched up after a couple of days. Sylvia, (I believe that is her name) the women that served the breakfast while we were there was great, super sweet and friendly. She really loves her job, and you can definitely tell. They are lucky to have such a dedicated employee that takes pride in her work. The front desk staff was also great and super friendly and very accommodating. Please recognize your employees and let them know what a great job they are doing!

The new staff not friendly like the prior staff. Except the gal that does the breakfast setup-she is a complete gem & the only one that seems to know that the guests should come first. Also, there should be cookies. In our past 3 stays - equaling approximately 12 nights since Dec 19th, there has been little to no attention to the details one would expect from this brand. Cookies are a detail, I get it, but it represents what makes you different & why your hotel is ‘worth it’.

It was really quiet. No one out and about after 10:00 pm. The location was excellent with plenty of parking. The air conditioning was awesome. It kept the room cool when it was 100 degrees outside.

Hallways were really warm, about 80 degrees. Carpet was older and worn out. The water in the hot tub next to the swimming pool resembled the Mississippi River water. There were dark stains on the floor and seats. The price was more than the booking reservation price.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and accommodating. I was there with ladies in my family, and we have a strong sense of humor. The staff was joining in on our jokes, and having fun with us. This is a big plus for us, because we can get pretty goofy! Also, we always appreciate a clean place to stay. We had 3 rooms, and all were neat and clean. We will keep you in mind when we come back to Rochester!

The breakfast was mediocre, at best. Not a lot of variety, and rather bland. We were very grateful for coffee and something to fuel us for our day off shopping though!

. The fact that we could just get our food and take it to our room to eat was great.

The shuttles to Mayo Clinic/ Hospital needs work!! It was mid 90's the days we were there, and there was no air conditioning on the shuttle. One day it didn't show up after waiting several hours for it, and the staff calling the driver repeatedly. Don't count on it to be your means of transportation to get to medical appointments or procedures on time! Super stressful.

I really like your style Jenny, Nathan, the housekeeper I think her name is Sheila, and Lisa in the breakfast room those people were very nice they want to above doing their job they were very friendly they helped us out a lot they answered all our questions they need a raise all of them I really feel comfortable staying there there's nothing I could say negative about those employees you have and I appreciate your business

The breakfast had some nice choices (scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, apples, coffee, milk juice! The location was convenient to the back roads we took to near by towns west of Rochester. The neighborhood was quiet, and close to a few restaurants and shopping (Menards/Kohls/Walmart to the north and Target/Fleetfarm to the south).

Some of the furniture in the room was a bit rough (Missing handles).

The location was good! Just a few minutes by car from Mayo Clinic. We loved the front desk attendant who was courteous, helpful, and kind. The room was excellent, though a bit humid. The air conditioning did help mitigate it. The breakfast was standard. Overall the service and the king room with separate sitting room was fantastic! It's just a short walk to a great restaurant as well. We will stay here again!

This is our go-to hotel whenever we are in Rochester. The staff are always kind and accommodating. This breakfast wasn't as fabulous as it has been in past years, but considering covid restrictions, it was perfectly acceptable and had enough protein/carb options for nearly any diet.

The pool and hot tub are in desperate need of resurfacing. They look really gross and the benches in the hot tub are quite unpleasant to sit on. Bottom of hot tub is oddly sandy... We have always enjoyed the pool and hot tub and appreciate the perfect temperature of both. Exactly what we need when we are visiting when one of our loved ones is being treated at Mayo. Would love for them to be restored to their former clean and comfortable condition.

This property is nestled in the town of Rochester and is great if your a driving by and looking for a safe place to spend the night or drive by. The open parking was well maintained and easy to access. It is located in a quiet area for a good night rest. The beds were fresh and there were options for breakfast.

The hot breakfast was slow.
