Great location, nice rooftop bar, appealing exterior and lobby, room furniture dated but fit the atmosphere, HOT water, shower soap dispensers, good AC, nice balcony, good WIFI, quiet for sleeping

Room whirlpool tub could use some TLC, bed was ok, junky storage view off our water street balcony, cheaped out on the shower decor, bathroom fan loud (get a switch to separate light from fan, toilet ran off and on while sleeping

The location

The room was spacious but damp and smelled musty . Dust on the night stand and bed frame. Cookie crumbs and lots of dust under the bed. The room could have a small fridge for ‘doggy bags’ and to store cold drinks. The windows were very dirty and hard to see though. The chairs are uncomfortable and the sofa was impossible to sit on.

Couldn’t beat the location and the view! Also really enjoyed the rooftop bar

Based on where our room was, we had loud music coming from the restaurant/bar area late into the evening 2 nights in a row. Music was louder on Friday vs Saturday but it was past midnight when the party was still going disturbing our sleep. I think you need to better soundproof the rooms if you are going to allow for the public to enjoy the establishment late into the evening.

The breakfast was not what we would expect at a hotel of your price. Number 1, we waited for at least 15 minutes before we found someone to seat us. Than the gentlemen who said he was the manger showed up and seated us. Waited another 15 or so minutes to get waited on .Ordered a Bloody Mary which was good and food. My friend ordered eggs easy over. Came sunny side up and not done. Finally after about ten minutes was able to locate our waitress and get this corrected.. By that time the rest of his food was cold. She was very apologetic about the circumstances and said cook staff do not speak English so is hard to communicate. This is something that need to be address with you hotel manager. Not happy with this situation as other customers were also complaining!!

The Irish music in the Bar on Tuesday night!!

Staff very accommodating! Great location.

Spa tubs seemed louder then normal and we couldn't adjust the jets. Fireplace was nice but you couldn't regulate temperature would get really hot in the room. No instructions on how to use TV remote to access channels. Had to pay extra for overnight parking $19 plus tax??

Location. History. Staff.

Paying extra to park is a sneaky and ridiculous way to squeeze additional money from a guest. I won’t return as a result. I realize it’s only $19, but the principle of paying $300/night for a room and being charged extra for parking is untenable.

I love the history of the property, and we had a beautiful view of the river from our room!

The balcony furniture and railing was covered in spiderwebs, so we couldn’t enjoy sitting outside. It was disappointing.

We loved the historic room with the river facing balcony. The location was central to everything we were looking to experiencing.

I know these were historic rooms, but we really would have liked a refrigerator/ice maker as this was a suite. Also a way to boil water... Keurig is great, but we drink tea, not coffee.

Love this place we come from Minnie several times a year. Staff are superb, always. Prices are good.

Ordered one suite, got another one that lacked a few things we wanted. All good. All minor.

The location is absolutely perfect, being right in the center of downtown SW. Each staff member was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, and the fireplace added a nice touch.

I have no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.
