Motel 6-Bay Saint Louis, MS

Convenient

Advertised as non smoking room. But upon checking in discovered that the previous guest had been a smoker. The room reeked is the foul oder of cigarettes and smoke. The receptionist was very helpful she offered to help rid the oder by spraying Fabreez through out the room. That helped but once a room is contaminated with cigarette smoke it’s hard to get rid of the smell. It’s everywhere on the bedding the carpet the drapes the walls. As a non smoker I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes or people that smoke.

The motel is very clean, quiet, well lit parking area and I feel a good value that is why we stay there when visiting people.

There are some minor repairs needed. Our bathroom had a tiny hole where someone slammed the door handle into the wall (small repair with a door stop would fix it in a few minutes. During our visit the hot water was worked on, my wife discovered that the water lines were reversed; so if you wanted hot water in a shower, you had to set the water handle to the cold side. Numerous people I spoke when I was checking out complained about not having hot water, we simply shared my wife's discovery with the other guests and staff.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was okay but the shower had the best water pressure that I have ever seen in a hotel, motel, or any house. The location was near enough to anywhere I wanted to go so it was never a hassle going back and forth.

There was a small leak in the bathroom nothing major but left a puddle on floor after every shower; water came from wall behind toilet. The room was in decent shape for something that probably went through several hurricanes. The outside of the building was being worked on so there was a mess where it was being worked on, which was only near our end of the motel.

convenient and affordable ! Staff was vety accommodating.. we asked for a bathtub , first floor and to make sure the cc was on the TV . so perfectly clean . We were surprised to see a microwave and fridge in our room . We were very pleased. The staff was so nice . we are going back .

The size and the comfort of the room ... the staff was very friendly and welcoming . The bed was very comfortable.

Was hard to enter from the main road off the I 10 East . Other than that it was a great stay

The staff are always excellent. It is very quiet every time we have stayed. It is close to the spots where we spent our time on the water and the location is very easy to find.

Close to where i work. They clean most of the time

My last night when i came in no one had clened my room given me towels or made my bed. I pay for that to be doneand i except it. At least fresh towels and the trash to be taken out

The staff was very friendly and made us comfortable right away. Room was spacious and bed was great to sleep on. Coffee was very good all in all a great experience

The water pressure was not that great . Need a driveway to access the Motel better.

It is a nice motel. The room was big, and the area seemed safed. That front desk clerk was very helpful.

I could not get hot water for a shower at 5 am. There was only one wash cloth in the room.

The property is oddly beautiful for a motel 6. Rooms are super clean. Staff is great. We really liked how quiet it was. Easy to sleep in late. Wifi is also excellent.

Very little. It's a great value.
