Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort

The room was spacious, and clean. Loved the big bathroom, and the resort had many different restaurants to choose from. We ate the noodles bar and under the oak, both were amazing. The staff was great , very friendly and welcoming.

Didn't like the construction going on but other than that we had a great stay and will definitely be back.

Food was good and Staff was great at every interaction.

I understand it is a Casino & that smoking is permitted. But...as a non smoker with 2 minors in tow (booked for a soccer tournament nearby hoping they could enjoy the pool and mini golf) but the heaviness of the smoke was almost intolerable at times. Especially when trying to eat. Such a shame to pay so much for food (which was priced fairly for quality throughout) when u can't enjoy the meals. The heavy smoke alone will likely keep us from staying again sadly, despite loving everything else about the room, food, and great staff.

The wifi was free and unsecured. They had a variety of restaurants i.e. desserts, pizza, burgers, coffee. The room was nice but the back bay wasn't that great or a view. But like I said, the room was really nice. I eventually liked the extra security to get to the elevator to the room. I had no problems checking in or.out. the resort is beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly. Booking early gave me a huge discount. I liked seeing the bridge and the sky but the business in the back took away from the view.

The view from the window had a business. They didn't have a buffet and their food prices were expensive. The pillows on the bed weren't comfortable. No microwave and a small fridge.

Property was very well maintained. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Comfortable bed. Room has a coffee maker, small refrigerator, free water and toiletries. Air conditioning worked very well during our stay. After all, is was very hot outside. The pool was adequate. There is a miniature golf course on property that’s pretty cool. The pizza was good and the pastry/coffee shop on site is open 24 hours. The cheese danish was wonderful. Food prices are average. Casino has all the table games and slots that you could want. There is a small gift shop and a clothing store on site that is very expensive. Free parking that was convenient.

Prices in the gift shop and the price of a room on a Friday night. 399.00. That is true price gouging!

How clean and neat the room was

I love the overall appearance of the hotel very nice clean regal everything. Every team member we spoke with was so nice and welcoming. I loved the valet service for parking and the man who helped us get and carry our luggage up was soooooo sweet im so sorry I don't remember his name but he was everything.... he explained every detail step by step on how to use the key card to use the elevator he showed us how to open and close the curtains in the room what number to dial if we needed anything extra for the room he was just so amazing and again I'm so sorry I can't remember his name. Your hotel is amazing we will be traveling back and for sure will book with Scarlet Pearl. 🤗🥰🤗🥰

The rooms were spotless, with nice furnishings and an updated bathroom. We had a west facing view which looked over a bay. Very nice. I traveled with my daughter and her best friend (both over 21). We felt very safe in the hotel/casino. Security guards were stationed outside the elevators and when walking into the casino. They were very kind and helpful. Valet parking was free (we gave tips) and the valet staff was great. As a matter of fact, I would have to say, the staff was one of the best selling points of the property.

I didn't like that the pool was located across the driveway from the hotel. Not a big deal, but still. And while once we were in the casino we felt completely safe, I didn't care for the area where it's located. However, easy on and easy off of highway. Also, I had the impression (from pics on website) that the hotel was located near the beach. It is not. It's across the bay, about 2 miles from hotel.

I like that you didn’t need to leave the property for anything.

The room we got had a view of the bay and the parking lot. It was nice to look at the view when you wake up in the morning. The room itself was big enough for the three of us. Room and toilet were both clean and sanitized. The curtains were automatic making it so easy to shut it down when you need to. There were also lots of restaurants along the lobby and the casino which made it very convenient for us and no need to go out for a quick bite. Price of the food in these restaurants were also affordable and tasted good.

I can't think of anything I did not like in this hotel except that we could have stayed longer if not for our scheduled flight.

The hotel is easy to access from I-10, and parking is always available. Close proximity to other casinos for concerts, and free mini golf with a players card.

There are motion detector lights in the closet that turn on automatically at night when you walk past the closet door or open the closet, and it takes a looooong time for them to turn back off (over 5 minutes) There are nice retractable blinds on the windows, but no thick drapes to block out the light around the edges of the blinds, so at night there was a good bit of ambient light in the room as a result The shower is nice once you figure out how to operate it, but it’s not clear how to actually turn it on and adjust the shower heads and temperatures. The pillows were quite thick firm, and next time I will take my own pillow and an eye mask. (We made a note on how to operate the shower for next time because it was a comedy of errors trying to figure it out ourselves)
