Comfort Suites Southaven I-55

Breakfast was good. Good safe location. Very friendly staff. Other than last night with confusion of checking out, room was always clean and well supplied with towels, etc.

Pool was already closed down for season due to motor broke. With it being 90+ and still summer, disappointing that they didn't fix and just shut down for season. After hot days of sightseeing, a nice swim in a pool would have ended the days off well. Breakfast could have had alittle more selection and change up every couple days.

Location was easy to get to events. Room had plenty of space and beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the desk and sofa in the room. The bathroom was good and the water was very hot.

The floor of the bathroom was dirty. During out stay a storm came through. When we came back to our room there was a leak from the light fixture in the bathroom. We were told maintenance would be there the next day. They never showed up. The desk person said maintenance would not be there on Saturday. She moved us to another room. The room was on the first floor which was great, but it took several hours to get us there. This should have been taken care of the night before. The staff was extremely courteous and professional.

The floor in our room had big red stains from the windows all the way to the couch so my son thought somebody had been murdered in there. Also, I left early in the morning before check out for work and they came in my room with my son in there because they thought that that room was empty. On my bill it said I stayed in room 324 however we stayed in room 311.

I like the location. It wasn't too far from all the restaurants or shopping areas. The hotel was nice and quiet..Not a lot of noise when u are trying to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent.

Recommend to provide a few microwaves if u choose to eat downstairs. As soon as I made my waffle n put syrup on it,it was cold. I had to take it to the room to warmup. Sink had a slow drain in room.

It smelled clean and the room was clean. Staff was polite, they even called the room to check to see how the room was, etc. Love the size of the rooms especially with the sitting area you didn’t have to eat dinner in your bed, Every room should be this way.

The ceiling in the shower is full of mold/mildew, the grout on the bathroom floor needs to be cleaned, the bathroom just needs a good updating/scrubbing. There wasn’t enough towels in the room. The front desk lady was very nice and gave us more but wanted to put this in there.

They had the Sanitizer through out the hotel but they were empty by the lobby elevator and the third floor where I stayed both were empty.. and my room was nice but I had two queen beds and only one bath towel and two wash clothes.. I brought my family and we are a family of 4 so having two beds in the room should automatically come with plenty of towels and there wasn’t I needed to send my husband down for more towels.. over all room nice and clean I smelled Lysol as soon as we opened the door so that was a plus and good sign that the rooms was sanitized

Did not have breakfast this time but having stayed there several nights in the past I have and it was enjoyable

Well I sort of understand why but the bed pillows are the quarter size pillows. I do not like them I prefer full size pillows. And of course this trip I did not think about bringing my own

Hairdryer provided by hotel did not work and apparently no replacements available. Also I requested king non-smoking but they sent me first to a room that smelled heavily smoked in. They immediately moved me to a non smoking room. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Had plenty of room conveniently located to several restaurants grocery stores and walmart easy on and off interstate as we were there for Elvis week. Good breakfast also had a washer and dryer for use.

That there was no vending machines on the floors. Can't complain anymore.

Beds were very comfortable. Staff super friendly and helpful. The only complaints would be the deadbolt on our door didn’t work and the microwave had to be unplugged at all times unless it was being used….wouldn’t turn off otherwise. Carpet needed vacuumed better.
