Hotel Indigo Kansas City - The Crossroads, an IHG Hotel

-Great bathroom -Very clean -Comfortable bed -Loved the style of the room -Cute hotel -Bar in the hotel but only open at night -Great restaurant down the street on the corner

-No breakfast -GPS had us walk through a park of homeless people to reach the hotel from Union Station-directions on the reservation of a safer path might be better -When we asked for more coffee pods they were "out" -When we checked in we were not given basic directions about how to get to our room-that should be part of the check in process I think.

I was surprised by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. I’ve been to a few other hotel indigo locations in this one wasn’t as upscale as the others but still a very nice hotel.

The parking situation is a bit odd. They do have valet parking for $30 but I was told that you can park on the street for free overnight on the weekends. I wasn’t advised that crime was high in this area and my car ended up getting stolen.  So it’s definitely worth the $30 to keep your car safe and I just wish the staff advised us of this and probably will now in the future.

Location is great, especially for the price. Room is very stylish and clean - we love the shower! Valets we’re very nice, and check in staff was very nice and made it all very smooth.

The only issue we had (and not a big deal for us) was the front desk clerk getting the valet ticket numbers mixed up. We waited a while for our vehicle to come out because of that. Also, this same clerk seems to be very tired since they kept falling asleep at the desk.

The establishment itself was modern and elegant, the room was comfortable and tastefully decorated.

The location did not have any onsite parking, so you were forced to find a spot on the street. The attendant who checked us into our room wasn't personable or polite; which ruined the first impression of the hotel.

Very nice and clean place to stay. Beautiful bar that was open until 11pm, last call at 10:45pm. My room had automatic window shades and was very spacious. The showers are awesome too.

Could hear other people through the walls and there was a door somewhere near mine that would open and close all the time. The only door near my room was what looked like a maintenance closet. It wasn't another guest room so I'm not sure what that was all about. It was really hot outside but the AC unit would come on every 4 mins and stay on for maybe 2 or 3 mins and shut off. It was super annoying especially trying to watch TV because it's so loud but it made for some good white noise to fall asleep to.

Staff was very helpful and nice. We felt very comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants and see the city. It was very updated and clean. The beds and bedding were super comfortable. It was very quite and felt safe. We would stay again.

We didn’t like that the only opinion was to valet park and there was no covered or safe area to unload our luggage it was just along the roadway.

All of the staff were very friendly, professional, courteous & helpful. Breakfast started the day off just right and valet service came in very handy

Breakfast was good! Both ladies were kind and took care of us. Location is good too. Easy access to restaurant and crown center. But, most of the Resto was close on Sunday and Monday. You can also order food to deliver. All the receptionists were easy going and respectful.

Everything is ok. I did not ask. But, I did not see a microwave?

Staff was so friendly and polite despite them being overrun by parade goers. We stayed here for the Kansas City Chiefs Celebration parade since it was right on the parade route.

Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Atmosphere was very trendy and perfect for the area. This was the former KC Costume Company building converted to a hotel so lots of brick from original building.

The artwork, decor and cleanliness of the hotel. An amazing bar tender that was efficient on creating a quick green tea shot for us as we started our evening on the town. Location was phenomenal and we had a short walk to our dinner reservations at Corvino.

Upon arrival there was not a valet ready to welcome us. We had several bags and had to request a bell cart to get our items loaded and to our room quickly, which we loaded and took upstairs with us. There were two staff members behind the desk and neither offered to help. Hospitality is going above and beyond to assist customers, especially when they are paying a top rate for accommodations.
