The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center

That Booking totally screwed up my reservation when they transferred it over to Westin. Misspelled names led to confusion on the part of Westin staff which took 30 minutes on the phone to supposedly clear up, yet when I arrived it was still not corrected. In the end it was straightened out but when I got home I found I was charged with 2 more parking charges than I used. I'll have to call Westin to try to figure out the issue on Monday. Always go straight to the hotel website from now on. Third party didn't save us money, only added confusion...

The hotel is a convenient walk to Legoland and the aquarium.

We arrived at 6 pm. There are few food options in the hotel and most of the restaurants in Crown Center were closed. The next morning the only breakfast at the hotel was in the bar. There were two places left at the bar. Even though it was 8 am we were curtly told that children couldn’t sit at the bar. We went to Crown Center and the only place open was Starbucks which is not a very good breakfast place for a child. If the Weston has room service, I sure couldn’t figure out how to get it.

the gym was excellent and in a great location walking across the bridge over the greenery and the water fall was absolutely amazing. the absolute best way to start the day.

the kitchen and restaurant staff did not have good leadership. my husband and I as well as several other guests wanted to watch the World Cup but there was no good system. the bar could have made a ton by staffing servers in that area.

All of the hotel staff was extremely friendly including the maid in the hallway (that alone made our stay more enjoyable) Our room had noticeably been updated and was very clean and nice. We will plan to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Our room should have had a nice (north) view of Kansas City, MO. However the large window to view the city was very dirty, so the actual "view" we had was unfortunately not that good. Would have liked it much better if the window had been cleaned. One other thing we didn't like was a pretty loud humming noise of the air-conditioner (or some other electrical appliance) in the room. That made sleeping difficult for one of us, but the other room guest was ok with it.

Breakfast was excellent, we upgraded to a corner King room, and breakfast was included. It was nice to have a full breakfast to start the day. Omelet, French Toast, Bacon and Biscuits and Gravy along with Coffee, Juice and Waters. There were other choices for Breakfast as well including a fruit meal. Staff was extremely friendly. Enjoyed our stay. Also, nice to have the covered enclosed walk to Union Station. We enjoyed having several places within walking distance to venture out to, Union Station, and the Word War I memorial.

We had some hanging clothes and no carts available. Could use porter in this case. We decided to just carry to our room.

The staff was excellent! The location was great, close proximity to Union Station where we were attending a wedding. We used the Link walkway as it was rainy and cool outside, perfect way to get to the event. We enjoyed the shops in Crown Center on the Westin hotel site!

I really have no complaints.

Clean room, staff was great! Comfy bed!

Parking. $22 a night because valet was full. Also, they said room service was 24 hours but no one would answer the phone. After 2 attempts, used caviar and ordered out.

The only negative was the shooting between the two young punks accross the street at union station. We were going to stay another night but since everything closed down we decided to leave. Thank you for letting us out of our reservation with no cancellation

huge amount of space and facilities that my kids loved to explore! having a restaurant, bar, breakfast/coffee, pool, workout facility, and more on site was wonderful. my kids loved the waterfall wall

some areas could use some TLC (hot tub, some walkways closed, etc) but otherwise it was great

Location was great-many close attractions nearby within walking distance. Hotel was very nice.

we had super long elevator wait times. They were in the process of fixing the issue. Menu on the lobby restaurant was limited, but included 3 burgers. Too many.
