Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Omaha I - 80, an IHG Hotel

The location

Had a two night stay booked. Had to come in a day earlier because of weather and just wanted to add one more day to the already booked two days for a total of 3 nights. They ended up charging me for 5 nights. Took an hour explaining to the employee and him talking to the manager and they finally figured it out after an hour. They kept telling me I had to go back to bookings to fix it, when it was them who messed it all up.

location is great. Right off the interstate. there’s a Walmart along with multiple fast food place & gas stations. hotel is pretty clean and nice.

the fact that housekeeping was knocking on our door at 9am. we were there celebrating with friends and got in very late. we planned on sleeping in and that ruined it. also we went to check out and no staff was at the front desk. so after ringing the doorbell and waiting at least 5 min, we left.

I thought the staff was nice. I liked that they had a wine , beer and snack section free and open for 2 hours.

the facilities. My daughter found a stain on her comforter. Would have been nice if there were extra bedding in the room. I couldn’t iron my clothes due to the outside of the iron was burned. I couldn’t use it.

the front desk staff is the best I’ve ever experienced. This was our 2nd time staying here and the check in process is quick and the staff is so friendly yet professional. very clean and well maintained hotel. conveniently located. Rooms are quiet so you don’t hear people in the hallway.

the price. we paid double what we paid previously

Breakfast is always a great value added with the room. We booked through Expedia and what was sent to HIE was not same room booked. The property was able to honor the Expedia booking within a half hour and we got the larger room with work from the on-site staff figuring it out. Thanks.

Liked just about everything room was clean pool and hot tub were nice and breakfast was good

That the pool closed at 11 and wasnt open longer for adults or 21 and over to swim longer

Was not able to get the Queen Suite that we booked, ended up with a standard room. It was a lack of communication between Booking.com and the hotel.

Proximity to the highway & Werner Stadium. Also a Walmart just across the way

Made it down to the breakfast area at 8am and there was literally NO food left……no eggs, sausage, pancake machine was empty…juice dispenser was empty. Just bagels & cold cereal left.

Super clean, comfortable bed, awesome room temperature control and the continental breakfast was delicious.

We where there over Halloween. Decorations where fabulous. My son had to pose for pictures. Also Breakfast was great...especially the Cinnamon rolls.

Would have liked a slightly larger tv in room for the price. Also felt the room was a bit small. My 2 teenagers refuse to share a bed.. there for one used a twin size airbed on the floor....we scarcely found a spot to lay it down.
