Mt. Madison Inn & Suites

The person at front desk was great! Friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Kids loved the pool!!!! The beds were comfortable, good shower pressure, nice bathroom. Room had microwave and fridge and small table to seat three good for eating, crafts, playing games.

Not enough places to hang towels in bathroom. Window shade wouldn't go up to let light in room. Not enough outlets, no USB outlets.

absolutely love the hotel, they provided us everything we needed, location is great, walmart is only 3 minutes away, McD, food store, gas station is only few minutes away from here. Rooms and toilets where extremely clean and organized. only thing they don’t offer room service but we we’re absolutely okay with that. Felt safe.

Comfortable and modern room. No issues with TV or WiFi. Lots of extra towels, toilet paper, and toiletries. Close to restaurants and convenience stores.

Room was not quite as clean as I would like. You may also have to call the motel phone number if you go to the office for something because the owners live there but aren’t always in the office. Not a huge deal, but I hate making phone calls.

Very clean, comfortable beds, spacious, nice large shower (low pressure), plenty of towels, fridge and microwave. Our room needed a few cosmetic updates (the one towel bar was spackled to the wall, and it looked like someone had taken a picture down but left the sticky hangers). Overall a nice room for the $.

Convenient location to get to Mt. Washington, Conway, Berlin, etc. Room was clean, all the basics one would need were there. Had a pool and hot tub but we did not use those, so nice for families if staying longer.

No a fault of the facility but a motel has certain limitations. On the first night the neighbors were quite loud and rowdy right outside the door - there is a shared patio space so I guess some people think it is "theirs" to do with as they will (loud music, etc). Fortunately around 10 I guess management came and told them to quiet down. Second night was fine. Room was "too" clean and had a strong antiseptic odor... had to keep windows open to air it out after being out

The room was clean and comfortable. Beds, pillows, sheets and blankets were clean and comfy as well as the towels and everything else in the room. The cable TV was basic; but It was easy to connect our streaming device and watch our usual shows. The internet was adequate to stream shows at low resolution; but not strong enough for high demand online gaming (we didn't mind this much). The hotel location is very convenient for visiting Story Land, Santa's Village and Mt. Washington. Kid friendly fast food restaurants such as McDonalds, and Subway are nearby. Even a Walmart is close by to get any necessities. If traveling with young children, consider to ask for a room in the second floor, because vehicles park right outside of the doors in the first floor. The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating.

The carpet could have been cleaner; but it wasn't dirtier than the carpet at home anyway. The are train tracks that run right behind the hotel. The first night this train ran at about 11:30pm and woke us up with its loud whistle. We didn't mind it that much because we made part of the adventure of being on vacation. However, the noise of the train can scare a lot light sleepers. Also, a girl form another family was coughing her lungs out in the pool one day, putting mucus and spit in big blobs in the water. In times of Covid this was concerning to us. We told the administration and they put chemicals in the water to clean it. so, just be mindful of what other people are doing and stay safe.

We stayed for 4 nights. 2 families. Our kids were in the pool and hot tub every night for hours! The fire pit was a nice chill down spot for us adults. The owner was super awesome and the lobby smelled fantastic with their signature scent. I even bought the candle that they had burning so now my house smells like vacation. The bathrooms were newly renovated and the water pressure was unlike any other hotel/motel we have stayed at in the past. The carpets were freshly cleaned before we arrived! Laundry on site was great and so was the ice machine for our coolers! Food was conveniently located on the same street. Overall fantastic stay!

Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Clear pool/spa times and rules. After a long day of hiking, good to know if we were able to use hot tub or not prior to getting ready and trying to swim. Also, please include tissues in rooms.

(Review is for Top Notch Inn- we were kindly rebooked there through Madison Inn since they were not ready for reopening) Staff was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. They had to move us to a different hotel because their hotel was not ready to reopen. Rooms had remodeled bathrooms, nice size mini fridge, and microwave. Nice location.

(Review is for Top Notch Inn- we were kindly rebooked there through Madison Inn since they were not ready for reopening) I realize this is an odd thing to not like but the lamps in the room had decorative bases and a few had sharp metal sticks poking out that scratched us. Actual Keys instead of key cards, and no sheers on ground level windows.

clean, comfortable beds, the owner has been very helpful with my stay making sure I had a room available on the dates I needed for work. Goes above and beyond!! Excellent customer service and very friendly!!

there is nothing I did not like. perfect hotel for my needs.
