I booked the Wentworth for my wife and I (plus two other couples with whom we were vacationing). We ALL loved the place!!! Our bedroom was very well appointed. It felt simply felt luxurious from the bed to decor. We appreciated the snack area was well-stocked with yummy treats. The staff were super-welcoming and helpful. And one evening when our group of six was finishing our food in the lounge, one of the staff (maybe the manager?) came by our table to remove our garbage (plastics and recyclable containers). I really didn't expect that level of service as I would have cleaned up after myself. The Wentworth definitely treated us in an "above & beyond" fashion.

The location can't be beat! Jackson has a quaint village vibe and the Wentworth is in walking distance to the Jackson XC ski Center, excellent cafes and shops. The breakfast, included, was very good and the service was excellent. Staff were helpful and responsive. I am vegan/vegetarian and found a really good option on the dinner menu that I enjoyed, although I think it was overpriced. The lobby is lovely and has been recently updated. We enjoyed sitting on a leather couch with lots of pillows sipping coffee in the morning before heading out to XC ski.

The rooms need some updating. They are significantly smaller than they appear in pictures. Our original room was especially cramped. We asked to change rooms and were shown a couple of options. The room we chose was much better than the first but again could use updating. The bathroom was tiny and outdated. There was inadequate counter/shelf space for toiletries to accommodate two people. The shower/bathtub was sloped and quite slippery. As previously noted the Lobby is lovely! However, final touches were still being made. Workers were noisy and seemed oblivious to guests who were trying to relax. Obviously, that is a temporary condition versus a permanent problem.

The room was comfortable & breakfast was lovely, we also enjoyed the complimentary hot apple juice & freshly baked cookies in reception. One evening we had dinner in the restaurant, we also tried The Red Fox & would recommend both. The hotel is in the perfect location to explore the surrounding area: there's Glen Falls, The Apalachian Mountain Club (amazing hikes) & don't miss the auto drive up Mount Washington!! Jackson Falls is also only a short walk from the hotel. Lastly if you're heading out for the day the village shop opposite the golf course does amazing freshly made rolls/muffins :)

The room & bathroom were both small

The Wentworth is a cozy hotel furnished tastefully with lovely carpets, fireplaces, and sitting areas. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts, and guests have access to a “pantry” 24/7 stocked with ice cream, snacks, coffee and tea, etc. Our bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel staff was great.

Our room was hot all day and night, despite very cool temps outside. Opening the windows helped, but the whole hotel seemed over-heated. Our bedroom and bathroom were tiny. I knew when I booked that the room was small, but it’s something to keep in mind if you like a little space. The lounge was very quiet, not many people there at all.

Actually, what wasn’t there to like about this property? It’s beautifully taken care of it’s situated in the heart of Jackson New Hampshire. We had a minor issue and their maintenance guy was just tremendous and so helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was, I couldn’t get an extra night because they were booked :-)

We were staying at the Wentworth for a friends beautiful wedding. Our room was spacious, clean, big bathroom, king bed, fireplace (was not working) and sitting area. The staff was wonderful, delicious meals and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The attention to details was impeccable. There were snacks, drinks, ice, coffee, ice cream, yogurts etc right next to our room in the "pantry".

The fireplace was not working. I mentioned it to the front desk and they were having someone check on it. Never heard back and it was not fixed.

Loved our 3 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Large comfortable room with pantry/fridge just steps away which was a lovely touch. Lounge and bar areas were very nice also . Staff were so courteous and the breakfast was fantastic. All set in a lovely little town which was a great base for seeing the area. By far the the best hotel of our 14 night trip.

Nothing it was all great.

The spa service was awesome. 1869 dining room food was superb for celebratory anniversary dinner and as well for breakfast. Additional items like the games, the pantry, and overall property were terrific. Nice touches.

The wear and tear on our building/cottage did show a need for some facility touchups/upgrades, but that was really the only thing that we noticed.

Breakfast was just ok but we decided after the first day it wasn’t worth it so we got breakfast elsewhere.

The door to our room would jam as if it wasn’t aligned correctly the top corner would get stuck which posed a problem when our toddler was sleeping as there was no quiet way to get into the room

Great chef and dining staff! Wonderful food and staff ! Very enjoyable and friendly staff always willing to help and guide! We very much enjoyed our stay in such a charming historic hotel with great updates!

Bathroom on the smaller side! Could use another chair in the room with a little higher height!
