This is such a quaint little place!! I was a little skeptical seeing the price, but upon arrival we were struck by how nice the property looked. The rooms were very big and the entire facility was very clean and comfortable. I was blown away by how big our room was, and by how comfortable the bed turned out to be!! Every staff member was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the pool looked really nice (we did not partake). A really nice bonus was the tennis courts, the ample amount of land to walk enjoy next to the babbling brook running behind the property, and the fire pit next to the stream.

The rooms were spacious. The beds was big and comfy. Enjoyed the free continental breakfast which was yummy. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. Upon checkout Cindy offered me a pecan cinnamon roll to take with me since I didn’t get to try one at breakfast. I thought it was very thoughtful of her.
We were hoping the outdoor pool would be open since it said on the site that it was heated. And we had to park on the side/back of building at night after returning from dinner and activities and the side entrances were all locked and we had to walk all the way around the building to get in through main entrance which was a bit of an inconvenience

I was greeted by the excellent staff: Cindy and Jimmy made me feel at home. This is my second stay as I also spent three days at the Lodge during the summer. The rooms are clean , many with excellent views of the Ellis River. The location is great because I am now a frequent hiker of the mountain trails out of Pinkham Notch (8 miles) and the Cross Country trails at the Jackson X-Country Touring Center (1 mile). I look forward to my next visit and perhaps Raj and his wonderful family will include an easy chair as I am fond of reading in comfort during my three days of lots of activity .

The breakfast was a bit scarce when I got down stairs at 9:30. I think that may be expected do to it ending at 10:00. I loved the idea of the serving trays so you could take the items to your room. The location was perfect for us, walking distance to the Thompson House where we were having dinner.
This is a great hotel for the price. If you are looking for up scale accommodation this may not be your best choice. If you are looking for reasonable cost, safe to bring the kids, and a great location this place is for you!!

I didn't know that there was a shallow river at the edge of the property, so that was nice; we sat on their chairs right near the water, and stepped into the water where it was only about six inches deep. Was relaxing hearing the sound of the water. Jackson Falls was only a three minute drive away; spent a couple of hours there...was very nice and relaxing. Sunrise Shack, 3.2 miles away, had excellent breakfast. Red Grill, .3 miles away, was very good for dinner. They had a good brand of yogurt as part of the continental breakfast, called, Chobani. I forgot to ask, so I was pleasantly surprised that we received a top floor room; I usually request that.
The bed and pillows were not comfortable for me, though they were alright for my partner, who is much less particular than myself. Most places were not open for lunch in mid September, during the week.

Jackson is an awesome little town in New Hampshire, with amazing views. The people at The Shannon Pub we're very inviting, and you can tell it's a very close nit community, which only adds to the experience. The hotel was great, as well, providing 2 separate heating options; a fire place and central air unit. It also had a hot tub/spa bath and a reading light, which I thought was a nice touch.
The room had a sock in it by the door to leave, and some of the towels were still damp. The hot tub was also a little difficult to figure out, and unfortunately I was unable to use it during my stay. I figured it out in the morning, and, of course, I had to head out when I woke up.

The Lodge was excellent. The landscaping was beautiful and meticulously well kept. The pool was lovely. Being able to sit by the babbling brook was phenomenal. The staff was very pleasant. have already ranted and raved about how wonderful my stay was to all of my coworkers at Dartmouth Hitchcock. And I am truly looking forward to my next stay! Thank you so much.
Excellent stay, no complaints.

The Room was clean and the furniture was very nice and updated. I loved having a patio to step out on. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super spacious. We had the king room with spa bath. The bath was huge and relaxing. Staff was friendly and they even have board games you can borrow if you have kids. Breakfast was included in the price. All in all for the price I would 100% recommend this place and stay again!
We booked the king room with spa bath but the bath didnt work at all. I was able to take a bath but the jets were not working which was disappointing. Also the food is subpar at best. It's free so that's always a plus, but it was not tasty. If you stick to the prepackaged items it's edible. But again it's free so i can't complain too much.

Location - close to Attitash and Wildcat mountains. Price - I paid $69 plus tax which was excellent. Large room with king, couch and small dining table. My room had a porch and nice view of the back of the property. Overall it was clean and.comfortable. Continental breakfast was decent. StoryLand and an aquarium were right down the street for families.
My room did not come with a microwave. I didn't need it but some may want one.

We have stayed many times and each time we find it a good value, clean, a great location and fairly comfortable.
This time we ended up in a room on the first floor and the beds were less comfy and all we could hear was stomping across the floor by the people above us. The breakfast was also awful. The potatoes didn't looked cooked and there is only one waffle maker so we didn't end up eating.
