Kearsarge Inn

Personalized welcome latter, ample parking, surprisingly quite street off the mail Street. Large bathroom with shower and a deep bath. An armchair in the room, a Keurig coffee machine with plenty of coffee pods. A Ice bucket, Wine glasses , bottle opener. Fridge, Gas fire if needed . A wardrobe, hooks of the bathroom door. boxes of tissues, a suit case stand. Lovely wraparound Veranda with comfortable seating . In reception there was a microwave, maps, plenty of extra coffee pods, milk, extra towels. A 24/7 phone number if you need anything.

The only thing we can think of is possibly cutlery.

Buildings are built sound proof and pretty much zero road noise. Liked that the AC was installed even though it is early to use this time of year, we needed to at night as we like it cool for sleeping. Also like the size of the rooms - there is plenty of space to enjoy time in the room.

The $30/night pet fee is high. What that actually pays for (at any hotel), I'm not sure. Every room should be vacuumed after every stay - if they don't that is gross! Also, would have liked a coffee table - something for my husband to put his laptop on while he finished up working. One other item that turned me off was the pile of cigarette butts in the yard just outside of room 16. Perhaps this is "left over" from winter, but they should prioritize cleaning that up. Disgusting.

The room was cozy and well decorated. We had a thru-the-wall air conditioner which was required for New England weather. The gas stove for heating was a nice touch but we never needed it- room was warm and with the windows open always comfortable. Hot water was great, coffee maker was great, location is as good as it gets if you're in town for a visit. We would definitely visit again.

Very odd that the check-in and staff services were still covid-restricted. It's a shame. The drains in the bathroom were slow, concernedly so, but they always ended up draining, thank God. The bathroom needs a vanity or side table for things - even I, the guy, found that lacking.

This facility is in a perfect Location in North Conway. This place is a Gem. Extremely clean with a great attention to detail. My wife and I stayed on the top floor room in a cottage. When we first walked in the room and saw the small "stove like" heater in the corner, I thought, 'surely this will not heat this room'...Boy was I wrong! Perfect Room! My wife and I have been half way around the world...we travel a lot...The Kearsarge Inn is Perfect! Oops! I failed to mention how comfortable the King Size Bed was...Perfect! Bathroom, Shower, hot water...temperature control heat in the Bathroom...who does this?! Located direct across the street from a excellent breakfast/lunch restaurant. When I say this place is perfect, I mean,Perfect!

We stayed in an adorable 1st floor cabin. It felt very private & cozy. The location was perfect to shopping & dining with a cute bakery next door & Italian restaurant across the street. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would rent it again in the future!

The only thing i didn't understand was the setup of the furniture in our room. The couch & chairs were across the room from the TV (which was above the fireplace) and next to the jacuzzi tub (which is cool but not in July - lol) so we rearranged it while we were there :) Otherwise the king size bed was very comfortable & bathroom was large & clean.

We had a great stay at the Kearsarge Inn. Great location right in the middle of the town. The staff were very nice and courteous. The room was on the ground floor with a private entrance. We also had the porch outside our door where you could sit and relax. The room was very spacious with a gas fireplace in it. The bed was very comfortable. A large bathroom with a deep tub and a nice shower. There was free parking on site and good free wifi. Lots of good restaurants close by all with in walking distance. A very beautiful place to stay. I wish I could have stayed longer, the area is very beautiful. Definitely good value for the money and I would highly recommend this Inn.

Loved the room and the location of the property.

Internet. It was virtually not existent. 70% of the room didn't have the wifi range and where there was range, the internet was so slow that, it needed few tries/refreshes to browse a page. Had to switch to mobile data and didn't use wifi throughout the stay.

The prior reviews are spot on. Kearsarge is a well maintaned historical home. Our room was large with a sofa and a chair. A toasty gas fireplace added to the coziness. Bathroooms can be exceptionally tiny in older homes. This bathroom was huge and updated, with two sinks, plenty of space for tolietries, plenty of hooks which are much needed. Extremely clean and quiet. Parking is on property. Staff called to tell us our room was ready early. She was very helpful, friendly and accomodating.

More time to enjoy this great accomodation and area. A black tea option would be nice. There is nothing we did not like.

The location was wonderful. We had a king bed in the luxury room and was very comfortable. The furniture is dated but everything worked and the room was clean. The spa tub was exactly what I was looking for and the room exceeded my expectations. Check in was quick and easy!

I would put metal bar in the shower vs plastic and have something on the shower floor so the shower is not slippery. It would be nice to have one handicap room with a walk in tub with jets or rails on the jetted tub. Other than that our stay was fantastic and we will stay again!

Spacious room and bathroom had both a tub and shower (Rm 7), comfortable king bed, Keurig coffee maker in room, variety of teas provided in reception area as well as additional towels, if needed. Cheryl, a staff member, called me to advise me that the room was ready 2 hours before check-in which was great because it was an extremely hot day.

No device for USB ports and TV image was dark and brightness couldn't be adjusted after many attempts. Bathroom could use more shelves for toiletries.
