Booked for two nights and each breakfast was phenomenal. A high-class choice of two options each day, served with a starter muffin and fresh fruit. You will not be finding this level of food at your basic breakfast establishment. The location is just off the Main Street so it is very quiet, and yet my wife and I were easily able to walk into the main part of town where the shops and train station are. You will be treated to cookies and/or muffins throughout the day, and can relax in a main room to read or play board games. Our room also had a full working fireplace, although the time of year did not warrant its use.

There was nothing to object to as long as you appreciate a bed and breakfast inn. The property is well over 100 years old, and you will have a few steps up to your room. Embrace the fact that you are not staying at a cookie-cutter hotel with its main lobby, concierge and the same tired breakfast options you have had a thousand times.

Great location which provided easy walking distance to the main part of town. The property is set off from the main road, so noise was never an issue. In addition, the breakfast was excellent and a big treat from the usual continental breakfast, or faceless experience. The room itself had a missing floor tile in the bathroom, and a few repairs, but I think the charm and ambience made any of these small things irrelevant. So good, in fact, that I'm returning with my wife next month to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. When you factor in the reasonable cost, there's not anything to complain about.

The owners were fantastic and the food outstanding !

It was very warm and muggy in our room because the A/C never came on. It made it hard to sleep. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work so made it hard to get ready in the morning. Also the room was never cleaned or bedding changed during the week we were there. We didn’t need it done every day but was told it would be done mid week but it never was.

The Victorian B & B was super cozy. The room was adorable, large, comfortable, attractive, quiet, quaint and everything you would want or need. Great location, super delicious 3 course breakfast. Cookies, tea and coffee in the afternoon/evening. The hosts (Rob & his Wife) were absolutely delightful and interacted with us. Their stories were funny and interesting about the wildlife in the area. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The location was exceptional and the breakfast was extraordinary! The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

There were no rugs at all, nor was there a bath mat. I don’t like to step out of the shower onto a bare floor, so I put down a towel. The decor was bare bones. A bit tacky; fake flowers, filthy dusty “mood” lamp by the bed. Cheezy plastic clock not set for the correct time so just flashing. It would not take much to correct all this!

I honestly loved everything about this place from the library with not only books but games too, the themed bedrooms (stayed in the Paris room) which was nice and cozy and intimate, the outside of the Inn was gorgeous and the pool was clean and inviting but my favorite part of the stay was the amazing breakfasts we ate! They start you off with a muffin we had Blueberry one day and chocolate chip the next, then you get some sort of fruit dishes each day was different and for your meal you get to choose from 2 different options and the food is honestly the best I have ever had from any inn/hotel, we always left really full and satisfied. Our hosts were also very friendly and excellent and we can not wait to stay there again but next time we are going to try a different room to see what the next one has to offer!

This is a nice little bed and breakfast and the room rates are very reasonable. The breakfast was really delicious as well and while I didn't see much of the owners, they were polite and professional. If you're looking for a cute place to stay in North Conway, I recommend the Red Elephant.

Everything was basically fine and, for the price, what I expected. There were no glasses in the room but the owner speedily got me some. No toiletries are provided, so be sure to bring your own. The room was comfortable but if I'm going to split hairs... I had to pick some up (hairs, that is, and not mine) from the bathtub before use.

Quiet location just off the Main Street. 15 min walk into town, bars and restaurants within easy walk. Room was comfortable, shower was good. Breakfast was very good. Owner was friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Wifi was very weak. Sometimes none, other times strong. Some areas of the place were a bit scruffy. Lawns and garden needed work. Verandah needed painting. Place needed dusting and vacuuming. Floorboards very squeaky, curtains didn’t keep enough light out.

The breakfast was excellent. Some days I had early meetings & only had time to drink the orange juice. On those days I took my zip lock bag & was able to get a muffin & bacon to take with me. The only complaint that I had about breakfast was that they gave me too much to eat. I’m handicapped. Rob & his staff have been kind enough to help me by putting my heavy bag in the car.

Being tempted to eat too much. Hope I haven’t gained any weight.

The breakfast was outstanding!! Rob is an excellent cook. The menu was equal to a 4 star restaurant. The view of the mountains from our room was spectacular. Loved chatting with Rob, the owner. Great location. Great food. Great conversation!

Having a hair dryer in the bathroom would have been a nice amenity.
