Holiday Inn Express Ramsey Mahwah, an IHG Hotel

The room was very clean, with options for a firm or soft pillow along with comfortable beds. The room was also very spacious. Breakfast options were nice and very tasty. 10/10 recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was very good. Great choices. Something for everybody. Fresh fruit, juices, yogurt and cereal. The hot breakfast was pretty impressive too. Sausage, bacon, eggs and fresh pancakes. Muffins, bagels and wholewheat bread to be toasted using the counter top toaster.

I have no complaints. The only suggestion I could make is regarding the selection of fresh fruit. Perhaps a wider selection could be considered. Bananas are excellent and easy to peel. Oranges not so convenient to peel as there are no knives to cut or chop them -apart from the disposable plastic ones. But that’s not a deal breaker as far as I’m concerned!

The hotel was nice, better than many others we've stayed at in the USA. We arrived late, but the check-in was quick. They had free parking right in front. The room was clean and bigger than expected. They had free Wi-Fi and breakfast. There was a small gym if you like to exercise. They also had a 24-hour station with free coffee, tea, and water. If you need anything in the middle of the night there is a small convenient store inside too. The hotel is around 30 minutes away from Woodbury Commons outlet and around 1 hour drive to NYC. I liked this hotel and i would recommend it if you need to be around this area.

Soundproofing was not 100% you could hear some street car noise and people talking in the corridors, but it was not a major issue.

Surprisingly clean, comfortable, efficiently run with just the right accouterments for the price point and other options in the area. Not a smudge, stain, frayed furnishing or scratched, dented metal finish in sight. Small and efficient staff keep the front of house workings an easy glide for all needs, wants, and desires. Let’s keep it that way and don’t make me into a liar.

One minor late breakfast because of a personal crisis with the cook. Understandable, only mentionable because with small efficient staff, one missing cog can cause major hospitality issues. Work out some plan B options and you will be nearly perfect, as anyone can be.

It is good value for money, and the room was clean with quality utility products. Good breakfast when compared to similar hotels. It was what we expected, a great place to stop when traveling on this road or if you want to rest before going to Woodbury Common Premium Outlet.

No complaints given that I did not ask for it, but I wish I had booked a room "non-accessible" room with a shower instead of the bathtub.

Breakfast was delicious. Great variety, plentiful , Staff friendly and helpful. Beds were firm and very comfortable.

The elevator broke on Sundsay morning but was repaired in a few hours. Very impressive for a Sunday. Tub in bathroom was a challenge for me as u have mobility issues. Would have preferred a walk in shower.

Breakfast was ok , liked the egg white omellete with vegie s , would prefer some yogurt without sugars , less carbs more protein options. Traveling with a handicapped brother and we wanted two beds so a handicap accessible room was unavailable .

See above unhappy that handicap accessible rooms must have king size bed. As siblings we needed two beds

The room was very clean and comfortable. It is just what we needed after a full day of exploring NYC! The location is great. Lots of places to eat nearby. Close enough to the city to drive but far enough away to get a good value hotel. The hot breakfast is a nice bonus Lots of options to choose from. This is our second time staying at this hotel for a weekend getaway to NYC and I would stay here every time.

located about 20min drive from Harriman Park and Woodbury Outlet, with free parking. coffee and tea self served around the clock and breakfast served its purpose. really clean and comfortable bed and room.

not much really, great value

Breakfast was good and location for what we needed was perfect. I picked up a nail in my tire returning from dinner and fortunately there was a tire centre next to the hotel which allowed me to leave the car in their parking lot overnight an walk back to the hotel.We were in town for a funeral and the fellow at the tire tore fired the tire first thing at no charge. Also fortunately there was a Dunkin Donuts next door so the tire guys got a dozen donuts for their kindness.
