Comfort Suites Mahwah - Paramus

Location was good and the room was quiet - our rooms faced away from the street. We rested so well we didn’t make it down for breakfast. The room was spacious and the sitting room with sofa worked well to visit with our friend from next room over. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nothing could have made our stay better.

Location. I didn’t have a car and no restaurants were in walking distance. Had to order food in. Expensive!

The suite was nice sized and clean.

Breakfast was a lazy joke. Some granola bars, and some weird looking cookie things. No fruit. No yoguhrt. Other places still being cautious about covid were a lot more generous and creative. No channel guide on the TV so you couldn't tell what shows were airing when. Loud music in the lobby made it difficult for me to hear the desk clerk, who seemed unable to speak any louder despite my repeatedly letting her know I was having trouble hearing her. Right now my room charges have been posted twice (pending), so I'm waiting to see if this is an issue I'll have to bulldog. The rate was boosted by a breakage charge that presumably would be eliminated if we behaved ourselves. It made me wonder what kind of guests this hotel was used to. We stayed one night.

the hotel was just what we needed. the location was good. The breakfast was basic but ok.

We got to the hotel at 6:00 pm after a long flight to NYC. When we got there it turned out the our reservation were cancelled because the credit card was declined. It turned out the the email was sent 30min before we arrived. After the manger made us feel bad he found rooms for us...and of course the credit card was used. They were supposed to wait at least 2 hours before canceling....after all we had a good stay but this was not a good service

Clean, also comfortable bed compared to other hotels

The driveway is located right after a exit ramp so it was easy to miss. Also thought there would be more options for breakfast, it was better than nothing at all though!

The hotel was quite, not crowded, room was quite and clean.

Pastries were kind of hard and breakfast was minimal no bagels, waffles, no orange juice, just very basic.

They are very accommodating with requests. I have never had a concern when asking for a higher floor room or extra pillows. Very close the anything you would need.

Price was relatively high.

Decent size King suite, had nice clean fridge and microwave.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was limited but better then nothing at all. Staff were helpful and polite. Would stay here again if needed

Wish there was a pool and extra blankets in room for the couch bed
