Courtyard by Marriott Secaucus Meadowlands

Location is 2 min walk to the bus station to NYC. A plaza mall is nearby , 15 min walk with several discount stores. Also a big Walmart is a 5 min walk away. The room was big enough, bed was comfy and all was clean. The staff were nice and very helpful except for one of the ladies in the morning shift!

toilet didn't 't flush and I asked to change my room but was told the hotel was fully booked and had to wait for 5 days out of the seven I stayed in order to get another room!! I discovered that I have to flush it twice to make it work better yet it was still bad! The lights in the room were very limited and so it was very dim at night. One of the ladies in the reception morning shift was exceptionally rude. I was really put off by her attitude. She was unfriendly ,never smiled and never even looked at me when I talked to her on several occasions during check out or to ask about a taxi service. She was an exception as the rest of the staff were super nice.

Close to the bus station. Every 12 min. departures bus 320 to New York and also for Hoboken 85. Friendly people at the Hotel and possibilities to buy something to eat etc. Walmart and some restaurants are also there.

we was 1 week there and our bed wouldn’t cleaned at this week but everything was good.

We stayed 7 nights. The New Jersey transit bus into Manhattan and the Port Authority building was just adjacent the hotel. We had breakfast every morning at the hotel and it was well worth just buying it at the hotel vs somewhere in Manhattan for us. Stefani and Milton (if I remember their names correctly) overseeing the breakfast area just made our morning start perfect. We enjoyed their hot oatmeal,artisan bread toasted, fresh fruit and coffee each day. Can't thank them enough. It was our 5th vacation into New York City and this Marriott Courtyard was most certainly our best hotel experience for sure. We will return for sure. We usually stay 7 to 10 nights upon each visit.

We were traveling by car for 8 weeks and we cannot fault this hotel for our stay in September 2022. By comparison to all places we stayed at we have nothing to fault here.

I love the location of this hotel. It’s close to many restaurants and shopping

We were very disappointed with the young lady that checked us in. She wasn’t friendly at all! We received one wash cloth and towel. I overheard the front desk lady telling another guest that they were limiting the towels per room because of Covid. However, I booked the room for two and only received one facecloth 🤷🏽‍♀️I had to ask the cleaning cleaning for more. Our carpet didn’t feel clean so we kept our slippers on. The bathroom was decent but not of Marriott standards. We did kill a bug on the wall. We get it, stuff happens but your guests shouldn’t see it. Our stay was over $400. We expected more! We love doing weekend excursions but I’m Not sure if we’ll be back to this location.

We stayed as a family of three for nine nights. Good hotel in a great location for NYC access. Route 320 stops next to the hotel and it is a 20 min ride to Port Authority bus terminal. Also lot of restaurants including a good Indian restaurant and Walmart very close by. Microwave available on each floor. Coin laundry available. A decent gym too with water dispenser. Rooms are good, not too spacious but acceptable.

Wifi bandwidth needs to improve.

The bed...the view.. the TV...the room is so spacious and clean...the pillows...and there are lots if things for charging ur cellphone/computer 👍🏻...the sofa and an extra table for working...👍🏻👍🏻

Becausebof the rain, and there isn't any covered entree from the parking lot, we were a bit wet...😅

Their willingness to accommodate my family and I. My mother is in a wheelchair, so thankfully they were able to change our room for another one that’s was more accessible.

A young female employee working at the front desk seemed a bit rude and unwelcoming upon our arrival. But the other staff members were quite welcoming and accommodating, which was something I greatly appreciated.

The location, despite all the surrounding restaurants in the area being sit in, is in a fairly close location relative to the Expo Center. The facilities were available at most times of the night and the front desk was very kind and courteous. The location is also very Uber friendly in terms of drop offs and pick ups

Not close to many take away spots. Can't really think of many negatives besides that.

I really enjoyed the room. The view outside the window on the sixth floor was great. I could see most of New York from my side of the hotel. I also enjoyed the morning breakfast that was available each and every day.

The lights to the room predominantly came from turning on devices. There was a small entrance hallway light when you entered the room, but there was no light you could easily access from the entrance to turn on for the larger room overall.

The location was great, very close to retaurants, bars, markets, bus stop etc. Hotel is in good condition and provides everything for a good stay. I would like to highlight the staff as they were very responsive and willing to do everything to make us feel comfortable. Would love to stay again
