I did not eat the breakfast. Recently, this property was sold from the Embassy Suites. When it was the Embassy Suites, breakfast was included. Now that it's Harmony Suites they charge for the same breakfast. I could not see paying for the same breakfast that was once included in the price.

I asked for a late checkout and the front desk clerk advised me against it because it $30 an hour. To me, that's just another way to hustle money from your guests. Please stop thinking of predatory ways to make money from your guests.

not really a problem because we are pretty neat, and many others wouldn’t care either but I didn’t read anywhere until we had stayed there a day that housekeeping was once a week.

All was great. The access to the city bus - #320 - just across the street. Parking also just outside the hotel. 25-45 minutes by bus to 42nd & 8 Ave depending on traffic. There is a good restaurant downstairs. Spacious suit. Good view from upper floors.

The kitchenette rather limited. Microwave, small fridge, small sink, coffee maker. No plates, utensils or any other dishes. No tea bags. Coffee- for 2 brewing (1 breakfast for 2), 3 pouches of sugar.. Then you need to ask for more. We stayed 5 days and decided to get our own coffee, tea etc. When checking in we asked for Manhattan site of the building but didn't get it, dispite the fact that the hotel was not busy at all (Sept). Perhaps these are more expensive.

The location and the distance to midtown New York was what I liked the most about staying at Harmony Suites Secaucus. The 320 bus station was across the street and was accessible access to Times Square (takes you into Penn Station, reaching gates 204 before 10pm, 320 after 10).Also the suites are spacious and affordable compared to the rates you get in NYC.

I didnt like the fact I won a lottery ticket from WalMart but they couldnt cash me out because the machine was broken. ughh!

Suite was large and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and always willing to answer our questions.

I didn't like that the housekeeping staff knocked on our door before 11am to let us know checkout time is 11am (we were aware of the checkout time). Same incidence occurred to my parents, and they were located on another floor. No ramp to first floor rooms ( had to use stairs).

Great starting point for trips to NYC, the bus heading to the city stops right in front of the hotel. The rooms are more like apartments, ours has living room, spacious bedroom, closet and bathroom with a bathtub! :)

I’d prefer cleaning the room more often, we were staying for the whole week and didn’t get any…

Great location, very nice hotel, wonderful rooms, great amenities. Plenty of free parking.

Air conditioner couldn't keep up in the room. For the size of hotel, the pool was very small. For the price, I was surprised there was no complimentary coffee or breakfast in the lobby. They did provide a nice breakfast to purchase however. Pretty pricey but very nice! Constant disturbance from other guests all hours of day and night.

Staff were super helpful & friendly; location next to trade show venue.

It was a beautiful hotel. Extremely clean and an extremely helpful and friendly staff.

There happened to be a Jewish birthday party(only mentioned the culture so it could be understood how many kids were there.) the weekend we stayed. There were a lot of children running around unsupervised screaming on all 9 floors. They were jumping on the furniture, rolling on the tables, and jumping on plastic utensils sending pieces flying everywhere. When mentioned to the staff it was said the party would be over soon and kids needed to get energy out. It lasted another 3 hours. That was the only issue I had and I'm hoping it isn't a weekly thing.

Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and has a nice-looking and comfortable lobby. The infused water station was appreciated, especially after being outside. The double king room is a nice layout and spacious. There is plenty of time for the buffet style breakfast.

The walls are very thin, and in addition to that, our room was directly across from the elevators, so we were constantly bothered by noise all day and night. It would get especially noisy around 5am, which we assumed was the kitchen staff starting their day. The parking lot is a shared lot, so although there is plenty of parking, you may be a bit further from the entrance than comfortable.
