Hyatt Place - Secaucus

Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Property has free parking on-site. Property was close to several restaurants. Easy to get back and forth to New York by public transportation or private vehicle.

Breakfast did not have any non pork meat options.

The breakfast was ok- I was missing vegetables and they kept running out of scrambled eggs but the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was big and nice but the Queen beds were very small and there was no Turnover service. The location was great - 10 min drive from the "American Dream" , 5min walk from a nice shopping center with restaurants and a Wallmart and a bus station at the back entrence that takes you straight into Manhatten. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful. I do wish they had an indoor heated pool

I liked pretty much everything at the hotel. Most especially the convenient bus #320 which takes only 15 minutes to Port Authority Terminal ! It comes every 10-15 minutes. Very convenient for visiting NY.

The only thing missing were fresh vegetables at breakfast. They had most everything else, even fruit. But veggies or salad were SORELY missing, and would have upgraded the breakfast to a healthy one, instead of only fried or sugary choices.

location was good, there’s a bus stop just outside that takes you straight to New York which was fast and very easy to take. also very close to the American dream mall with lots of attractions for the kids. there is a lot of parking , friendly staff. it was clean and comfortable

breakfast was ending pretty early for me and there was very little towards the end. it’s a shame there is no pool but we knew that in advance.

The rooms were not 100% clean. Found M&Ms under a pillow, tags behind and under furniture, and also some old food on the rug still… post pandemic we still need cleanliness and good sanitation everyday in EVERY room

After our 1st night, our room was not completely cleaned. The beds weren't made, the glass cups weren't changed/cleaned. Spoke with the front desk & was informed that they usually don't make the beds every day, that they only change the towels & take out the trash. The next day they made the bed so I was a little confused. Overall enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again

breakfast is very good, room is clean and big enough for us. free parking is a plus. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. entire stay was awesome except for minor hiccup

we were double charge for our stay, glad I caught it before we check out and reverse the charges and of course we have to wait for few days to get it back. traffic noise don’t settle down until late night.

The location was great to get to NYC and surrounding areas. The breakfast was good. Two staff members that stood out for being very friendly and helpful were Tina in the breakfast area and Melvin at the reception. They are assets to your hotel!

There was no kettle in the room . The small coffee maker didn't help for people who drink tea.

Getting to Newark airport using the taxi service connected to the hotel was very expensive even though it's a shirt distance. It's better to use Lyft - half price and were very good

Good connection with NY center. Bus stop with automatic ticket machine right outside the hotel. Nice place with Walmart 15min walk and Plaza area with diners at 5 minutes walk. The Indian restaurant was very nice

Same breakfast every day. Rooms with no physical air exchange.
