very clean, beds very comfortable and newer mattresses, good location, very friendly desk person

The air conditioning is the old under the window type, would not cool down, barely any air coming out. we tried two other rooms same situation, finally found one that worked. Too nice a facility to have outdated air. we , traveling from still 93 degree weather in Texas want cold air. For this reason I would not book this hotel again especially in summer and fall coming from a very hot climate. our son lives in Idaho Springs so we will be doing this often. I’m sorry everything else was was great but cold air to us is important.

Location was convenient, staff was friendly and courteous, the room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was pretty disappointing. They shouldn't call it breakfast, honestly. They offer cereal, yogurt, plain bagels, and the use of a waffle maker.. and the coffee was basically water. When I see that a hotel offers breakfast, I am expecting something warm and nutritious. Even just eggs and bacon would have made a huge improvement. This place is in the middle of nowhere, so obviously the people staying here are most likely traveling. My husband and I were driving from Steamboat Springs, CO to Snyder, TX for my grandfather's funeral. An actual breakfast would have been greatly appreciated in the middle of nowhere on that trip.

This hotel was beyond my expectations. One of the best I've stayed in so far on my trip. Staff was very friendly and kind . The restroom was spotless and neat. The room had a huge mirror behind the 2 beds , tooo cute!! It had a closet and some drawers for people who tend to stay more than a day. Really enjoyed staying there.

To tell you guys the truth , I have 0 complaints. I LITERALLY LOVED IT.

On requesting a bed for two, the manager/desk clerk provided us an upgrade to a "suite" at no additional cost, and without having been asked to do so. The room was nicely decorated in a contemporary style with a micro-kitchenette and a long bar with a sink separating the lounge and bedroom areas. The room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. For convenience sake, the property is adjacent to McDonald's, Denny's, and a small number of other local restaurants. If you like a six-pack of beer to unwind after a day on the road as my wife and I do, be prepared as this Microtel is situated along a road that is part of a New Mexico "Safety Corridor" and packaged-alcohol isn't available anywhere nearby.

In the last couple of years or so (COVID related of course) it has been common for housekeeping to MAYBE attend our room once in a week long stay. It was VERY refreshing to see regular housekeeping in our room which made a great impact on our stay. Thank you!

TV...Closed captioning was on the whole time and we found NO way to get it off the screen (a little distracting when watching our shows.) Otherwise, well done.

Location and ease of the highway. Yet it was still quiet. Staff was kind and thoughtful. Gave us a room with easy access to a side door for the dog. Breakfast was simple but good.

The room temperature was warm and changing the in room thermostat did nothing. Also the TV remote was missing. (We probably could have asked about these things, but it was a one night stay and seemed unnecessary.

The check--in went good. My request for a downstairs room was honored, much appreciated. The location is great, the room is a very nice size. The breakfast buffet had a very nice variety.

Was missing wash cloths and hand towels. Was easy to get from the front desk. I eat Keto lifestyle so unfortunately, there was nothing I could eat on the breakfast buffet. I had to go next door and order my food and bring back.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was easy to find. It was clean and fairly comfortable. The manager was great! I had paid for a room with two queen beds due to the fact it is cheaper than the 1 king bed. I was upgraded to the suite with the 1 king bed without extra charge. This was very nice of him. Customer service definitely goes a long way! Thank you to the staff for making it pleasant.

First of all there is no elevator. It wasn't bad but I prefer not to run up and down stairs to get my things from my car to the room and back. The breakfast was just granola bars. They could have done better for sure. All the other hotels I have stayed at have had pretty full breakfast. I think it is over priced for what you get. Also, note that the coffee is suppose to be 24 hours. However, when I went to get my "breakfast" (granola bars) The coffee was empty. I think this needs to be better attended to. It worked out fine, I went upstairs with creamer and made coffee in my room.

We absolutely loved this Microtel! Not only was it affordable, the room was actually probably the best room we stayed in on the entire 3 week trip! It was exceptionally clean and comfortable and had a wonderful ambience/atmosphere that felt warm and welcoming. The staff was very helpful as well, and parking was convenient also.

It did not have a pool or hot tub, but that is true of all Microtels, i believe.

The windows had screens, but wouldn't open. The air conditioner/heater was quiet and had a setting where it continued to blow, which created good ambient noise to block out other noises such as the semi truck that was idling in the parking lot of a restaurant behind the hotel.
