Pros: Very large room and bathroom in a modern industrial look. High quality furniture and appliances. Very clean and housekeeping is doing an amazing job. Amazing location, close to Main street and not far from trails. We did everything by foot, including the way back to the train station and the DIA Museum. Very friendly staff.

Cons: The breakfast was a disappointment. The Yogurt in the fridge was good, but the paper bag, left outside the door each morning, contained 2 supermarket muffins and tiny, cheap-tasting bagels. No plates, only plastic cutlery. Loud heating system, but just turn it off during the night.

The room was superb; large, nicely furnished and appointed, quiet. Breakfast was perfectly fresh, with local baked goods. Staff were professional and very friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed the restaurant and particularly the host, Shane, and his knowledge of local wines and the Hudson Valley area. He clearly takes ‘ownership’ of delivering a fine experience for Roundhouse guests.

Shelf in bathroom was falling off the wall. Shower valve was loose. Minor items, but a little technical maintenance required around the room.

Big room, very neat and clean, beautiful restaurant in proximity of hotel. Cool industrial interior. Bright. comfortable bed. Amazing waterfall view! Great location. Nice staff. Superb restaurant with amazing menu. super cozy.

No gym, pool, spa etc, breakfast rather basic.Bizarre bed frame ( I hit myself on it many times) longer than mattress. We have stumble on rainy days and we did not have an umbrella and unfortunately hotel did not provide enough umbrellas for the guests. We walked to restaurant outside the hotel l, arrived wet.

Great location, superb room size.

Breakfast was a little lacking for 4 people. Tasted nice but the kids at both bagels before we got anywhere near them

An interesting rehabilitation of an old abandoned mill -- stylish and comfortable. Free delivered breakfast was somewhat modest but very tasty and a good start -- cafes for a proper hearty breakfast or brunch are steps away. (Also, in room fridge with OJ, yogurt, etc is a nice touch...) Visited on the hottest day of the year, and the AC was great. Staff were friendly enough. Pleasantly surprised after reading some unhappy reviews here. Would come back, I think.

Screaming children in the adjoining room at 7:45 am, with no attempt by parents to stop the screaming. It was definitely pricey -- although not outrageously so. (The feel of the place is not at all a chain lowrange hotel/motel)

The location overlooking the rapids of the river is stunning. Front desk staff gave us dinner recs and we ate at a restaurant that was 3 minute walk over the bridge and was excellent! Easy parking, great room and shower was great. The buildings are stunning and I don't feel that the pictures online represent how pretty the surroundings (mountain and river view, old factory building renovated) do it justice. The bourbon bar with fireplace in the restaurant was lovely and had a great selection. And there was a wedding at the event space Saturday night that looked absolutely gorgeous from across the river! There was no real 'hang out' area in the hotel and no good coffee in the morning but the bagels, juice, yogurt and muffins left at our door was a lovely touch! Staff were all pleasant and helpful. I asked one front desk employee about the brunch at Roundhouse Restaurant and she said she had never eaten there! (You should have employees try the restaurant and menu so that they can speak to it) Really exceeded our expectations for the price!!

Meal at restaurant was just so-so and coffee at end of meal was awful - cold and oily.. had it taken off bill. Otherwise, everything was lovely.

Didn't eat breakfast--instead went out to local diner. Liked manager getting me apple juice since I can't drink the provided orange juice.

Not having a real sit down breakfast, especially at the room rates. Very poor lighting in the room. Almost impossible to read in bed.

The waterfall in the back is beautiful. The location is very close to everything. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The minimalistic, industrial vibe was cool. Continental breakfast was convenient and a yummy bonus.

Mid week in February the restaurant wasn’t open. Although everything was very clean, here and there I noticed little things in the common areas and also a little trash by the waterfall was there until I picked it up a day later. I think more Artwork on the walls could add warmth without messing up the cool vibe.

I loved that breakfast was delivered every single morning and the refrigerator was packed. The room had a great decor and I loved the location and then it was right at the top of the main street strip. Also the restaurant was amazing, as was the view

We didn’t love that the bathroom door was a farm door that didn’t fully close or lock, and the pillows were very uncomfortable, but other than that, no complaints

Great hotel right in Beacon, converted from old factory buildings. Very spacious rooms. Lots of architectural interest.

No facilities. No bar. No restaurant open on Thanksgiving. Breakfast is still delivered to the room - no choices. High-fat yogurt, mini bagels and muffins. Need some healthier choices.
