Nice clean room. Designed well with outlets by each bed for up 2 devices. TV well placed in corner and easily viewed from bed. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Great deal for price. Would return again.
Heater/air conditioner combo was a little noisy and heat didn't circulate well in bathroom so floor was cool.

Friendly owner. Price was best in area for a basic room. I only need a place to sleep and clean up on road trips. Rustic roadside motel that has been somewhat updated. Relatively close and north of West Point, which was the reason for my visit. Also close to and south of Newburgh, NY for good eating establishments.
Trim for the baseboard heat was mostly missing. Only a keylock for the door. No deadbolt or inside security locks. Slid the table and chair in front of the door to slow down any potential intruders.

It was very clean, but about what you'd expect for the price. Things are old and a bit run down.
The bed was firm and stiff. The pillows were very flat; I had to fold it in half. I'd probably pay more next time for a comfier bed. We paid more at another hotel nearby and the pillows and mattress were about the same. It's really hard to find a hotel for this price and it seems almost as good as others that cost more.

The Cadet Motel was incredibly clean, safe, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I would most definitely return.
Perhaps having coffee available in the office would be great for guests trying to start their day

Cheap, Not too far from WP. Dated facility but clean and serviceable and owners were pleasant and available and even put a chair out for me to have my nightly cigar. Good place to stay on those busy WP events days without breaking the bank.
