I think this hotel is unfairly rated. I went expecting the worst and was very pleased. I saw a lot of reviews claiming the rooms were dusty- this was NOT my experience. The room was very clean. There were little things like chips in the paint on the wall- but that is not the type of thing that bothers me (and it shouldn't bother you). There is also a parking lot which is a big win in this area. The staff was amazing! Kahn was there to greet us every morning and when we got back in at night. The location is amazing, you can walk to everything you might need and you are right across the street from a cute little park. There was a pretty decent breakfast spread with all of the basics. Waffle machine, muffins, OJ, coffee, sausage, eggs... Also, for the price (compared to other hotels in the area) I don't see why you would stay anywhere else. I would definitely stay here again and you should too!

Not really a big deal- they lock the doors around midnight and if you're not back by then you have to ring the bell and wait for someone to come get you. (not sure how annoying this would be because it never happened to us) However, there's not much going on around town after midnight so this was a never a problem for us. I also think that Kahn had a good enough memory to have waited for us if we not back before he locked up.

The manager Khan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, convenient & enjoyable. My husband is on oxygen & has limited mobility & strength. Khan met us in the parking lot & helped get all our bags & belongings not only inside but up to our room. When he realized that my husband prefers nonflavored coffee, he hand delivered a supply to our room for the next mornings coffee. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable & shower & bath nicely up to date. He also entertained us with a melody played on his harmonica.

We look forward to seeing more of the renovations completed when we go back for our next stay. We hope that they keep & preserve the historic touches like the tin ceiling in the front area sitting space and the original staircase. Perhaps next time they will have restored & begun using the bar area again.

Wonderful staff could not be more welcoming or helpful. New owners are working hard to bring back this historical hotel. While some things are still a bit worn and it is an old building so the floors can be a bit uneven, things are freshly painted and furnished and very clean. The value of off street parking can't be overstated! Especially on parade days. Also fantastic coffee shop just around the corner

It is at the top of town, so a few blocks away from the most trendy part, however I'd rather walk a few blocks and save the extra dollars to spend on the excellent shops and restaurants.

the owner/managers were so friendly and helpful. breakfast was good with hot selections and fresh fruit. our king bed was wonderful!! beautiful entry staircase and air conditioning was fine.

the outside if this Heritage building needs some attention. the window flower boxes were rotten and there were weeds growing @ the entry. inside, the register in our room and the breakfast room was falling apart.

Location was very nice opposite a quiet park.....and I think it's probably the only place in town that has a breakfast included also free parking out back, all the other places in town is payed or park on street.

The front of the hotel is not inviting at all, it requires a makeover, brighten the paintwork up and awning over the front door a few flower boxes would do the trick.

The location is great, staff was nice and friendly, the room was clean except for some mold that I found in the bathroom, but the room itself was comfortable for us.

The product they use to keep the air smelling good is too strong. I guess they’re using too much product, or it’s just a strong chemical. I suffer from migraines and sadly, that strong smell was a trigger for a headache. Also, they said that we could enjoy complimentary breakfast, til 9:30am. I went downstairs at 9:15, and I could only had coffee and some cereal. Not fruit, nor toast or all the things they supposedly offered in the counters, and that was disappointing. The stay was super pricey and I don’t think it worth it.

The Hotel is located in a central yet peaceful square in Downtown Hudson. The free parking is very handy for drivers. The Hotel staff is great, helpful and kind. They helped us make a last-minute booking and showed us the room before we made our final decision. Room is spacious and beds are very comfy.

Khan our host was so kind and attentive! I was studying for a class and he always asked if I needed coffee. His wife was also a great host as well and they helped us get a great taxi service for our departure.

The building is a little old, but charming! The rooms were also very spacious.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Staff members/ owners WC g out of their way to be helpful. An old hotel but nicely redone. Bathroom fixtures and shower high quality.

The front exterior facing street needs redoing as it presents a lesser “face” to the property. Flower box at our windows but wilted flowers.
