Bayside Resort, Lake George NY

Beautiful property, great location, easy access to restaurant, very friendly staff, welcoming environment, clean property inside and out, amazing pool!!! Continental breakfast was very nice, lots of options and tasty, family of 4 saves easily $50 on breakfast…. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at DBR and before I could say I would like to go back the kids were asking when we could go back. Would highly recommend!

I actually don’t have one critical thing to say about DBR. One may say it is dated but that is what I was expecting as I read previous reviews, and I’m sure it helps keep the price low,,,, I would prefer an affordable vacation rather than paying for the newest and fanciest and what is most important to me is if a place is clean and it was very clean….

This is a Beautiful Resort for everyone, We had the 2 bedroom suite family cabin and it was nice and comfortable, livingroom, dining room and each room had a separate bathroom, is like home away from home... The hold Crew at Dunham's Bay Resort was so welcoming and helpful. Love this Resort and will definitely come back . BTW , there was a wonderful Wedding across our cabin and it was so Magical and Beautiful.

Bed was very comfortable, A/C worked well, pressure in shower was decent, hot water was quick to get hot and stay there, indoor pool was nice it had a ping pong table in it & towels were provided at pool, beach was small but nice and clean it's not owned by hotel but guests have permission to use it just have to wear wrist band on that is provided by hotel. View was excellent, staff was wonderful, free breakfast was nice with french toast and cheese omelets, kitchenette was stocked with pans and dishes, full size refrigerator and 2 burner electric stove, there was good space in common area of room and both our kids had their own bed so that was nice. They had a nice fire going at night, shuffle board, bocci ball available. Everything was clean and we had a great time. It's about an easy 10 min drive to downtown area from hotel. I would stay here again.

No can opener in the room or at the hotel. Also no salt or pepper in the room. I would have thought with a kitchenette in the room these 2 things would be a staple. Pull out couch (as couch) was old and not comfortable to sit on. Outlets were very loose but once told of the problem we were told they would be fixed.

Nice location only a few miles away from Lake George Village. Stayed there because of the indoor pool which was heated and also had a hot tub. Not many other guests when we were there so it was quiet and relaxing.

The property is a little dated, but that didn't affect our stay. No breakfast besides complementary coffee or tea. The restaurant on site was only open for dinner at the time we visited.

I was happy to find out that continental breakfast was included! The staff was excellent. Check-in and check-out was easy and fast. The view of the lake from the balcony was nice. The room was clean. We swam in the lake - glad there's access to it.

The bathroom was very small, but can't really do anything about that. The fridge was poor and the "freezer" portion did not keep my ice packs as ice. There was no microwave in the room.

The property is on a quieter part of the lake. It is about a 5 minute drive from the city center. The grounds are beautiful and the lakeside beach is very nice. The continental breakfast was great.

Our room was located on the ground floor a few doors away from the main office and directly facing the parking lot. As a result, the curtains always needed to be closed and greatly limited any sunlight.

The cabins were stock with everything we needed (plates, cups, knives, paper towels). The courtyard was great for the kids, very family friendly! The pool was great! We stayed in the spring and it was quiet and peaceful I don't know if the summer will be the same but we are definitely planning to return in a few months. Ohhh I almost forgot parking was super convenient we parked right behind our cabin no long hauls with luggage!

The wifi didn't work on my phone but it's the Adirondacks and vacation so I didn't expect to be using my cell phone

Everything you needed for the kitchen was there, including dish soap.the coffee pot is an instant pot no filter or coffee provided with it , which was no big deal just heads up to bring your own if you like coffee in the morning with out going out. They do have coffee at the desk already made . It was very clean ! Both showers could be run at the same time without losing water pressure. Shower towels are huge an very soft. The pool/ hot tub was great. There is a fire pit open till 1 am an they have smore packages available to buy for $10 .

The beds are not great very hard, an bouncy each time my husband moved I woke up kinda of like sleeping on a trampoline. My brother said the pull out couch wasn't to bad. My two 8 years old had no complaints about the two twin beds.

Everything..grounds and beach were clean. Room was large, clean and beds super comfortable. Wonderful views of Lake George. Staff friendly and helpful. Outdoor games and property nicely light up at night.

Location was very convenient to the wedding we were attending at a private residence. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower was hot and strong. A/C worked great. The days we visited were very hot. Josh at the bar was excellent. His drinks were delicious.

Furnishings need some updating. The stairs were a lot when bringing luggage up and down.
