They are not flexible on their cancellation policies(even for COVID). I had reserved two rooms 2 months in advance. Two days before we our arrival date, one of the couples tested positive for COVID. I tried to cancel one of the rooms and was charged a cancellation fee. My wife and I were planning to go to Canada, so were tested for COVID to cross the border. My wife tested positive so we had to leave a day early. We were even charged for the last night!!!!

We stayed at the Blue Spruce many years ago and liked it then. We think the owners are new since then, but they have maintained the same lovely, unique and comfortable motel. Highly recommend!

I was very impressed with the size and furnishing of the room.it was a great value. The staff and owners were on site. They were very accommodating. I have stayed at many major hotel chains and this was better then any of them. I will make sure any time in that area I book at that motel

Friendly workers, clean rooms, Mike was very helpful with making sure we had a parking spot for boats and plug in for them and luckily he found my license plate from my boat trailer(I’m pretty sure his name was Mike). Will definitely be back next year

It was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very nice and available if needed
There was construction going on and the roof was being replaced. It didn’t really interfere except that there was extra noise and getting to the office wasn’t always easy
