You can tell this is a new hotel. The room had USB ports, plenty of plugs, big TV on the wall... The biggest complaint was the lack of towels and that housekeeping never came in to replenish the number of towels. We were supposed to have 3 of us and we only were given 3 bath towels (at least that was correct), 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels. They quickly gave us more when we went to the front desk. No hot tub, but the pool was really nice, and we got lucky to have the pool to ourselves. The back area was beautiful! There were lots of chairs, fire pit and grill! We didn't use it but saw how nice it was. Had considered maybe heading back with dinner and enjoying this space. The location is ideal! Burger King, McDonald's & Pizza Hut are within a walk along with Dollar Tree, and other shopping and gas. Only about 10-15 minutes to Potsdam (where our son was graduating from Clarkson)

Lack of towels, but that might have been related to Covid. Would have enjoyed a hot tub, but really not needed. Otherwise, really nice!

The staff was pleasant, breakfast was great.

We were told upon arrival that there was NO hot water in the hotel, we literally booked this for a local college tour and a meeting with admissions, a professor and the coach, so we were upset to find we could not shower or get ready for these meetings after a 5 hour car ride! Ruined the day, image yourself with meetings and no means to shower or prepare for in person meetings.... UGH. We were told on arrival, so there was no time to book anywhere else, a heads up would have been nice. I'm not one to complain at all, all else was fine, but no hot water to prepare for our meetings made us feel yucky ALL DAY :(

My son was having his college graduation in the area. This place was prefect. Love that it had the pool, workout room. The yard has a grill and a fire pit. It was relaxing. They also made breakfasts.

Wish they had a laundry room for you to do your own laundry. Other than that, it was great.

Great Breakfast, nice new facilities. Very clean... bright, big clean rooms.. excellent staff.

Pool was very small. Air Conditioner made a high pitched sound all night which distracted from a restful sleep... may have just been the one room. Overall though a great place to stay.

I liked the breakfast selection and I loved the fire pit. It was so relaxing sitting out by the fire, enjoying the beautiful evening. We also loved that we could sign into our Netflix account and watch movies.

I wish the pool was bigger. It is like a personal pool at a home size, not a motel size.

clean and breakfast

there were a ton of kids that were really out of control. A youth hockey league. the parents need to teach their kids to be respectful of others, and staff should have reminded parents of that.

Breakfast good selection, good taste, kids had good choices staff on top of refilling food/drinks also use of tables later in the day very nice as we cooked on the grill, but too chilly to sit outside pool was great as kids swam often and it entertained them

Could have been more choices at breakfast, everything else was good also did not ask for early check in but the staff graciously helped me check in early

The hotel was very up to date / modern and clean. The staff was very nice. It was like an oasis in a small town. We were able to book an additional room on short notice.

Breakfast was very disappointing as we were expecting some hot food, not a microwaved Jimmy Dean sandwich. This was one of the reasons we chose this hotel over the Best Western. They are under staffed in front of hotel and the poor lady had to man the front desk and the breakfast area. Not fair to employees or guests.

How everything was nice and clean and quiet.

When we went to check out om Sunday, no one was at the desk. I called out for someone and no one answered. I found someone in the food prep area, jut they were playing on their phone so it took awhile to get their attention before we could check out. I didn't like that.
