Simple and clean hotel worth its price. Very friendly and well organized reception. Easy to find - good pool and outdoors area

We were skeptical from reading recent reviews, but had a really lovely stay here that exceeded our expectations! The room was nicely updated (think all those recent motel makeover shows) and very clean, the staff were very friendly when we checked in and out, and the beds were VERY comfortable. It's a short walk to the center of town with shops and restaurants, and a short drive to the Hamptons or to the North Fork wineries.

Two small recommendations: add a trash can to the bathroom (the only one was in the main room), and add a full-length mirror. The price was also a bit high for a motel, but it's in a good location and was the end of high season. A little more attention paid to cleaning would be nice, but overall the room was very clean.

The first night we didn't have any hot water, when I told the front desk he said "oops we never told you?" He promised that it would be fixed that day and it was. I asked for more toilet paper which he was going to hand to me but we were going out for the day so he asked if we wanted the room serviced and I said yes. They did everything, except give us more toilet paper.

There were so many negative reports about this hotel (which I only discovered after booking) that I was expecting the worst. The hotel is indeed in need of an overhaul, or to say it differently, it has kept its charm of a hotel of the sixties. That said, the pool is proper, I had a nice room with a chair outside overlooking the pool area, there is ample parking, the historic district of Riverhead with shops and restaurants is within walking distance, and staff were very friendly. Both the South Fork and the North Folk can be reached within less than 30 minutes.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff were over the top friendly and the rooms were nicer than we expected. It's location is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and shops. If we were in the area again, we would stay again.

Great centralized location in Riverhead. I appreciated the refrigerator in the room. Before arriving bought fresh fruit at a nearby farm stand. Also, appreciated the coffeemaker and hair drier. The room was very clean and comfortable.

If you are noise sensitive, the back rooms of the hotel are near the road and you can hear the traffic. I used earplugs so this was not a problem.

The location is great, although the roads around the hotel are very busy and it can get loud early. The large pool and the huge lawns with BBQ options are great addons. From the hotel you can walk into Riverhead and visit restaurants, bars, stores in no time. Very extremely convenient especially if you are not travelling by car. Coffee/tea/hot water available at the lobby Super helpful and friendly staff!

The rooms and facilities could use a bit of an upgrade/face-lift. .

Check in was quick and the desk staff couldn’t have been more personable and helpful. Clean, comfortable rooms and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Beautiful pool area.

Allowed me to check in early. Spacious room, comfortable bed and great pillows. Good location to catch ferry.

WiFi, never received the login, if there was one. Room access was a little weird with 2 keys.
