Extended Stay America Suites - Asheville - Tunnel Rd

Close to highway, and business close to do oil change my car needed, close to grocery store . The kitchen, with two electric burners and big refrigerator and deep sink ideal. The TV programming was good, not complicated. The maintenance man was on hand, and dealt with leaky faucet. The room was painted and decorated nicely.. The bed comfortable, the sheets crisp and felt clean. The morning attendant, Rebecca ,was attentive and friendly, and works diligently at her job.She is loyal and trustworthy, the kind of employee any business would be proud of. The laundry facilities were good too.

Seeing single moms bring their kids through the lobby to get breakfast. I wish they could have affordable housing, so they didn't have to live in hotels.

The location and the room was clean.

I called ahead of time and spoke to an very nice gentleman by the name of Gary and he said an early check-in at 1:30 -2p.m. would be fine (check-in is 3pm). I arrived at 1:50 and was told by the front desk manager I would be charged extra for the early check-in. I travel quite extensively and this has NEVER been an issue with other hotels across the street from this property!!! So I waited in my car for 1 hour and 10 minutes!! Checked in at 3.

It was close to everything we wanted to do. They had grab and go breakfast, which was nice. The room was large and looked updated and it was clean. The staff were great, especially Jim. Vending machines available. Laundry was available on site. All interior access rooms.

Ok so no major issues just a little nit picky. This is an extended stay hotel so there was no in room coffee maker, but they had coffee available in the lobby. There was no hair dryer or full length mirror. The bed was a little hard and uncomfortable to me and my husband.

Great extended stay. I have been to a few of your properties in Florida, Indiana, and other states but this one is at the top of the list. Great place to stay and so close to Biltmore Estates.

Only minor complaint is because you share a parking area with a closed business I wasn’t sure where you where until I looked around and saw your sign which is difficult to see. You need more lighting at the entrance so it’s doesn’t look uninviting to first timers.

The bed was very uncomfortable and our AC unit wasn't working properly so it was very warm in the room. The room was clean, def had comfy pillows. The stair well was dirty, there was what looked like a burger in the floor and someone's t shirt that had been in the floor the entire time of our stay, also a bag of dog poop right as you walked out the door.

location and the staff. I’ve travel extensively in my life taking advantage of all the chains and boutique offerings. I’ve never had a stay where I felt I was family. Exceptional service and suggestions for any needs. Never met a better staff.

issue with boiler. nothing else and that was not the property’s fault

A tiny bit confusing at night seeing how to reach the building. Perhaps a couple of solar lights between the place where you turn in and the building would help. wifi a bit confusing. set up for very low bandwidth unless you pay extra.

I need hotels with kitchenettes in them. I’m a trucker so I cook my meals fir the week while in a hotel. The bathroom was spacious, also having a comfortable chair to watch a little tv in was also nice, you feel very at home.

These are kinda pulling teeth cause it’s a nice place for the money. The AC unit started making a really loud noise while I was sleeping and woke me up. I had to shut it off. Only one of the cooking burners worked and an accessible shower should have a removable wand. This did not and the shower head it did have was poor quality for what looked like a fairly newly renovated bathroom

The beds are not as comfortable as other hotels in the same price range. PLEASE PUT FLOORING IN EACH UNITS AND CORRIDORS. ITS MUCH MUCH MORE SANITARY.

Everyone was so nice!! The rooms were clean too!!

The room smelt a little musty … the hallways smell better than the room ! We did have ants .. in the bed and sink in kitchen area .
