The rooms were very nice and clean, we loved how big the fridge was compared to most hotels! The Pool and hot tub were great and the highlight was of course the roof top! We spent every evening up there enjoying the view. Would highly recommend staying here.

The only issue was with the rooftop bathrooms. The men’s room was locked the whole time and the women’s toilet wouldn’t flush unless you took the back off the toilet. Easy fixes in my opinion and definitely didn’t ruin the trip for us!

The hotel is very nice and looks as if it is new. The decor and furnishings are up to date and attractive. It was also very clean, including the grounds. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Also, the green rooftop was gorgeous and a beautiful place to relax. Highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing I did not like was the dog park. Since there is no grass on the property, it would have been nice if the dog park were equipped with artificial turf. Currently, wood chips are covering the ground and it looks dirty and unsanitary. One of my dogs refused to walk around inside the dog park.

Our room was clean and spacious. Comfotable, modern, and close to town. Great amenities, especially free laundry and the kitchenette. Staff were very kind.

The bathtub is really slick. I fell twice while showering. Once would've been surprising but twice means there needs to be a safety measure in place. The hold bar is not easily accessible, but if there had been some type of shower mat, I wouldn't have fallen. The lamps in the room were bright white LED, so that affected the ambiance. Soft white would be much better so guests could use the lamps.

Kitchen with dishwasher. Chair with small table and desk. Security for elevators. Roof top lounge nice and good views. Didn't smell like smoke, smelled clean. Loaner stuff available. Small selection of items for a fee in the lobby. Laundry facilities, gym. Food places nearby and grocery/Starbucks next door. Good option for longer term stays.

Missed the view because it was dark and rainy. Ants in bathroom, buzzing like something was flying when I turned of lights. Noisy people upstairs. Large population of people wandering around the building and parking lot, possibly to the plasma building behind it. Fence around lot with signs posted not responsible...never a good sign. Extra security most likely needed.

Quite literally THE. BEST. place I've ever stayed at in my life! People are nice, place is super clean and very comfortable! Everything is new and smells great! All the amenities you can think of, a generous kitchenette in the room, 24/7 access to free laundry room, and right next door to a grocery store, and several fast food places and fine dining establishments close nearby (literally less than a minute drive to McDs, as they basically share a parking lot, and maybe three mins or less to BK, Taco Bell, SubWay, and more!) Will definitely have repeat stays in the future!

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer! We'll be remedying that next time! :)

Marlene and Kay made such a huge impact on our stay! we are so appreciative of them and the rest of the staff for making us feel so welcomed our first time in Asheville. From the moment we walked in Kay and Marlene jumped on and told us of good places to eat and made our stay just smooth from the beginning to the end! The candle wood is a home away from home and we will definitely will be staying here again in the future. Very clean, close to many varieties of food and all the things you want to do in downtown Asheville! we recommend Papa Beer’s right in walking distance from this Candlewood as the tacos are AMAZING.

Cute and modern look to the room, it was very clean and open so there was lots of room for just two of us. Had a pretty good Mountain View too. It’s right by a bunch of restaurants and good spots to go visit so it’s very convenient!

Not by fault of the hotel but some of my view was kinda blocked by the hotel across the street but it’s definitely not a deal breaker! Parking could be a bit more expansive but I didn’t have too much issue always finding a spot. I imagine it could be a bit chaotic during busier seasons though.

The roof top was wonderful. The hotel is clean. Staff is wonderful on all shifts and greet you with a smile every single time.

There is not a floor for people with no pets. I love dogs but the barking was to much. The staff did the best they could but they were on every floor I just checked out early cause I did not want to move again

Friendly and helpful staff, came with a kitchenette so was able to prepare breakfast. Seemed like a recently constructed property - very new looking. Downtown Asheville was a short drive away.

No printed TV channel list and guide button on remote did not work so had to manually roam to find desired channel. Elevator required guest key for every trip which is great for security but painful with full hands.

We enjoyed the rooftop lounge area. The hotel was clean and nice. Not too crowded. Our room was comfortable and we really enjoyed that it had a mini kitchen.

We would have liked a king size bed instead of a queen. Also, we prefer to stream tv shows and movies so a tv with streaming capabilities would have been nice. We had to go to Office Depot and buy an HDMI cord and plug my laptop up to the tv just to be able to watch Netflix.
