What a beautiful spot and lovely old building. I spent a fair amount of time out on the patio overlooking the gorgeous garden. So relaxing. The hosts are lovely, welcoming people. Breakfast was to die for. Air conditioning controls in each room keep things nice and cool and the hosts have a mini fridge with chilled drinks and sodas that you can grab whenever.

I liked everything. Just a heads up that rooms are small, but there are two large and comfortable common rooms where you can hang out, read from the library, watch tv, play board games, etc.

Sadly, I needed to leave so early to hike that I didn't get a chance to enjoy the full breakfast with the rest of the house - but the hosts were so kind and left out fresh fruit and breakfast snacks for me. The home was so well-appointed and welcoming and the room and adjoining bathroom were just perfect. As a woman traveling solo overnight, I wanted a safe place that had amenities and breakfast and the hosts made me feel right at home.

There wasn't anything that I was unhappy about. It did exactly what I needed.

Su and Mike were wonderful hosts - knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions on exploring the area. They went above and beyond to make guests welcome. The gas fireplaces in the lovely common rooms made things cozy on the chilly days I was there. Breakfast was delicious; the 24/7 availability of hot or cold drinks was a plus. The location is perfect for exploring Burnsville on foot, and as a home base for the surrounding area. I'll be back again.

Breakfast exceeded any expectation that I had. (It was my 1st B&B so I didn't know what to expect). Not being familiar with the area, I did feel that the location was ideal for my trip. There were lots of sites to see close by. Mike and Su were so gracious, warm, and friendly. We were able to sit with them and a neighbor couple one evening and learn about the area. We even took the neighbor's suggestion and stopped at the town of Marshal on the way home!! We stayed in Ann's room and it fit my cousin's and my needs perfectly. I love that they have kept an old house alive. Don't give it a second thought. Book the gem if you are going to be in this area!! It takes a caring and outgoing couple like Mike and Su to make one's stay enjoyable. Thank you both!!

The internet connection was a little slow, but I shouldn't be watching my soap opera anyway!

Amazing place! Our hosts Sue and Mike were fantastic and cooked a delicious breakfast of french toast, sausage and fresh fruit! Everything was so lovely with historic charm but also included modern amenities and comforts. It was nice not to have televisions everywhere, but the downstairs lounge had a television if wanted. A wonderful getaway with my husband in a mountain hideaway! We look forward to going back!

No improvement needed-everything was amazing!

If I could give this property a score of 100 I would. Su and Mike know how to create a slice of heaven in this beautiful B&B. They thought of every detail to make the room perfect. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. Coffee and beverages are available 24/7. The location is perfect as it is very central to destinations and activities in all directions. On site parking. The building itself is like a postcard; it looks just like the photos but better. I now consider Terrell’s a kind of second home because that’s how Su and Mike make you feel. Imagine sitting in a rocking chair on the porch watching the fireflies start their evening dance at twilight. That’s Terrell’s. You will find no better! Thank you Su and Mike…”see you later.”

Not one thing. See my review. Sometimes nothing is unlikeable and this is one of those occasions. Su and Mike are incredibly detail oriented and they’ve thought of everything.

I stayed in Patricia's room for my stay and it was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and firm, very sturdy frame. Loved it. The bathroom was nice and spacious and included a clawfoot tub. The hosts were extremely generous and thoughtful and even had a continental style breakfast (Yogurt, fruit) for those needing to leave before breakfast service. Value was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was delightful and convenient, and the breakfast was delicious

Had I known that suction bars were available for the shower, I would’ve had a better shower experience. I spoke with Susan about it and she apologized that she had t mentioned it. I should’ve asked, but didn’t know that suction bars were possible in the type of shower enclosure in the room. Overall, tho, it was a very nice experience, snd the hosts were engaging and accommodating.

Staff were GREAT made us feel like part of the family. We will definitely be back !! One suggestion that we have experienced at other B&B's is to have fresh baked cookies in the evenings so guests can sit and Socialize after getting back for the evening.

Only thing we could find but know can't be changed is we would rather have a tub instead of a shower just for the option of relaxing after a long day in town.

Breakfast was amazing, especially the yogurt parfait and breakfast casserole. The rooms are all enchanting and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. They told us about a place for dinner within walking distance which we all enjoyed. The location is idyllic and there are both front and back porches which are an ideal way to enjoy the summer breezes in the mountains. The peace and quiet of Terrell House will always be treasured by us and I plan to return next summer with even more friends!
