Comfort Inn Asheville-Tunnel Road East

Almost every single thing the beds were comfortable, lots of pillows. There was a soft night night in the restroom, hooks to hang up clothes and towels etc. The towels were large and soft, provided toiletries were enough for the visit. Everything was clean, well maintained. The pool was awesome on these hot days, with plenty of loungers and 2 tables with umbrellas, parking was adequate. Walls were thick enough so you didn’t hear your neighbor. Staff was helpful and always smiling. The location was easy to get to everything and easy to get In and out of on a busy road. Breakfast was the down fall. While we appreciated having a breakfast every morning the space was adequate, clean plentiful. All in all though a great Comfort Inn

The breakfast never changed. We were there for 6 mornings. Every morning was the same watery scrambled eggs, hard potatoes, and hard sausages all had been cooked in an microwave. Nothing else changed such as the fruit. Other motels which serve breakfast other than an continental breakfast change up the menus such as bacon or the small cheese omelets. And everything was super salty . But area was clean and always plentiful amounts of food. Coffee was meh

The price was right. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The halls seem a bit dingy, but nothing significantly wrong. Didn't try the breakfast as we had meetings elsewhere each morning. Check-in was quick and easy and front desk staff was very cheerful and helpful both times we interacted.

Halls seemed a bit dingy, not as updated in our room on 3rd floor. However, the price was right and the room itself was fine. Apparently they don't provide any cleaning services automatically, but you can request them. Not surprising since help is hard to find these days.

We stay here every time we come to Asheville, and it is always wonderful. The rooms are really nice and comfy for a great price! This was also our first time bringing our dog with us. They put us in a room by the stairs so it made taking her outside really convenient. They also only charge like $20 extra a night to have her stay with us. So cheap compared to other hotels we've stayed at. This is a pet friendly hotel but you would never know because it does not smell at all. We've stayed in hotels in the past where our entire room smelled like a pet store, but this is definitely not the case at the Comfort Inn.

I liked so many things The size of the tv was great,The k-cups with the coffee maker was really good coffee. The fridge had plenty of space. The mattress and pillows were pretty comfy. There was plenty of space in the room for my active 6 year old. The location was perfect, close enough to just about everything we wanted to do. My daughter loved the pool. The staff was pretty friendly but I’d have to highlight Heather (I hope I’m getting her name right) Heather was such a joyful face! She knows her customer service!

The sheets and covers where kind of itchy, it makes me glad I bought my own. We are sure there was a dog in the room before we were there because my allergies where off the charts. And we kept finding stray dog fur. I was fine once I took my allergy medicine. The breakfast was kind of boring but I’m guessing since COVID it makes it harder. I would have liked to have more fruit options. Me and my family are allergic to dairy and eggs so we couldn’t eat any of the options available.

The room was clean and orderly. It was also quiet, even though it was on the parking lot/street side of the building. There was enough to get you going for breakfast, and all the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is located at an intersection which is noisy during the day and calms down at night. The bathroom had a tub/shower which might be a benefit for some folks, but a trip hazard for seniors.

Room was clean, and staff members were friendly.

When I entered your facility to check in, I was subjected to political news programs on your TV. I almost walked back out. At breakfast, I was subjected again to unavoidable political news on your loud TV. Please don't assume that all travelers share your taste in political programming. The weather channel would be a safer bet, as it offends no one.

The room was awesome. The right size, had all the little extras that you expect. And to my surprise I had a microwave and refrigerator in my room.

The BREAKFAST. This is the first time I have stayed at a Comfort Inn and the breakfast was something you could get at a gas station. For the price I paid for each night, I expected the breakfast to be just a little more upscale, rather than instant coffee, there was no yogurt. The fruit was almost rotten. I could go on and on. If I had to rate my experience at the Comfort Inn. I would have to give it 3 stars. I wasn’t expecting to have to pay for my coffee or breakfast but that is what I had to do. Either get rid of the excuse of a breakfast or get more and better selections. A very disappointed customer.

Good location with an easy drive to downtown Asheville as well as close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Pleasant and pretty quiet room. Reasonable wifi although slightly unreliable as our room was probably furthest from the central hub. Good parking.

Nothing really - the hotel was very busy but this didn't cause a problem. It would have been good if there had been restaurants within walking distance. As a diabetic I did not try the free breakfast options as they were predominantly carbo based.

The staff were very helpful when I asked about places to go and where to eat. Breakfast was plentiful and the OJ was great! Good location close to the interstate for access as well.

The bed was a bit too soft for me, but then I have a bit of a bad back. The curtains do not close all the way so there are the illuminating blue parking lot lights shining through the window all night! (BE AWARE, RM#118) Luckily, we were able to somewhat rig the curtains close with a bag clip.

Location was great, the room was spacious, bathroom was really nice

The AC wasn't turned on when we arrived in the room, and it took until the middle of the night before it really cooled off in there. I understand that running AC in rooms where no one is can be a waste of energy, but it should at least have been turned on and turned up higher so we could adjust it when we arrived.
