The Albermarle Inn is such a beautiful house within easy driving distance of downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. My husband and I found it to be quiet and extremely relaxing and the staff go out of there way to make it so by just giving you space but being there if you need help. The property and gardens are immaculate and our room on the first floor was large and extremely comfortable. It was a perfect few days for us.

A Grand Home Away from Home I liked everything, mostly, that's why I give them a 9 out of 10 points. The exception: The room we were assigned was the Sunrise suite, a beautiful suite with a four poster canopy bed that required step stools on each side to climb into bed. As well the suite was up two flights of stairs from the entry to the Inn. The bathroom was extremely cramped, no place to put down a make-up bag or toiletries and seated on the toilet one's knee rested against the radiator. As well its shower had a fixed shower head. It did not have a detachable hand held hose type shower head. Had I understood this to be the case, I would have asked for the 1st floor Oak room suite (I only discovered the first floor had suites once I was there) since I have relapsing remitting MS. I am able to climb stairs, one step at a time with great effort. A roomier bathroom with the conveniences mentioned, would have made things easier. The Oak suite on the first floor has a roomier bathroom and shower, and detachable hand held hose shower head. They did accommodate my dietary needs, Gluten Free pancakes at breakfast, however there were no GF snack choices as an alternative to their snack offerings of fresh baked wheat based chocolate chip cookies and Snyder wheat based pretzels packs with coffee and tea. Yet again, one cannot expect such an accommodation, but it would have been a nice touch. The hook on the inside of the bathroom door was large, heavy and made of enameled metal, very lovely, and matched the other bathroom hardware. Unfortunately, it was so loosely hung on the door that when I removed the towel from it, it fell to the floor with a grand "clunk!", befitting the grand historical Albemarle Inn, and barely missed my toes. Please fix.

See above.

Breakfast was great with two delicious courses every day in addition to the beautiful ambiance of the patio breakfast area.

I was disappointed with the assigned standard room located under the roof on the third floor ( red room). In reality, it should not be offered as a double room since the space is extremely limited I would also recommend to notify the guests at the time of the booking so people can make adjustments while it’s not too late.

The garden and the house were beautiful. the bed and breakfast was clean, the grounds were well kept, and it was tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood but all of Asheville was easily accessible from that location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure our breakfasts were prepared according to our diet restrictions.

The B&B was exactly as the site stated and they were responsive prior to arriving and texted and emailed to keep us updated prior to arriving. It was a homey place to stay and the staff was very helpful. The INN is beautiful and we will definitely stay again.

Nothing. we were very pleased.

Great location near downtown and lots of good restaurants. Friendly staff and good food.

The room was very small but a good price. Three flights of stairs to reach the third floor with luggage. Photo 3 on listing does not belong to this room, it is another room.

The breakfast was sensational! Facilities were historically beautiful. You are super close to Omni grove, if you want to sample their restaurants.

TV's were a little small and hard to control but who goes to Asheville to watch TV?

The property was very beautiful and serene. We enjoyed breakfast on the lawn and porch both days, which was a wonderful way to start the morning off right. The home is gorgeous inside and comfortable.

We really didn’t have an issue with anything with the property itself. Our room needed to have a working vent in the bathroom, but it was not a major problem for us.

Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The house and common areas were very nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was spacious. Availability of snacks and drinks was convenient.

The temperature control in the room was poor but this was not a major problem due to low outside temperature.
