Staying at the Wells is a treat. We truly appreciated all the little comfort items in the room, extra towels, coffee machine, actual coffee mugs, refrigerator, ironing board to name a few. The room was super clean particularly the floor. A lot of the times the cleaning crew cuts corners, but ours was very clean. Even though we were in one of the smaller rooms, it was a great use of space and lighting. We could have used a few more hooks and shelves in the bathroom.

We tried to use the fire pit one night, but there were too many ashes in the fire canister to start a fire and we didn’t have a way or a place to put them ashes. It’s a great spot outside under the trees, so I can see why there was a lot of ash.

We used the Wells at Cashiers as a base for a driving trip in the mountains and it was perfect. Great location, nice big rooms (especially the suites and cabin), and an easy check-In process via text. Also, the cabin was advertised as having one bedroom with a King bed and the other one with 2 Queens, but it turned out that both were single Kings. To make up for this and ensure our party had sufficient beds we were comped a free single room, which worked perfectly for our group and speaks to the service and customer focus of the hotel. Also loved the brewery on the premises and the Solo fire pit!

The main lot could have more parking space. One evening I could not find parking in the main lot so had to go around and park in front of the cabin, the access to which is an unpaved, narrow road that was hard to navigate in the dark as my car has very low clearance. Also the rooms in the main lodge are a little dated (which as I mentioned before we were comped for so I guess I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth!).

We room 102 was very clean, and newly remodeled. It felt like you were out in the woods, but yet in the heart of Csshiers. It was very quiet at night although we were there on a Sunday and Monday night with much of the town closed on those days. It was nice to have a code to get into your room and the lobby after hours if we needed additional toiletries or towels etc. The fridge in our room and Keurig coffee maker with coffee and nice mugs was a plus. We enjoyed walking down the trail to the brewery next door.

When we Joshua was not very welcoming. He was via text before when we arrived which was nice. But, I think after meeting him in person, the text was a standard text sent to all before arrival to provide a code for room entry and room number. I think when we arrived earlier then check in time he was very busy on the computer. A warm and welcoming greeting upon arrival goes a long way.

Beautiful property! It looked like one big cabin. The room was immaculate and the perfect size for a couple’s getaway. The mattress was amazing and room was setup so cute. There were coffee cups in the room with a coffee maker and all supplies for it. We were able to check-in and received our room number and code for the door before we even got there. We also walked to the coffee shop the next morning because it was so close.

Nothing we didn’t like.

we went to a zookeeper restaurant nearby for. breakfast and it was excellent. they had gluten free items. the rest of the time we ate breakfast in our room's kitchenette which was very convenient.

would have liked a regular coffee maker instead of a Keurig since we like to grind our own fresh beans We had interesting issue when someone in our unit would flush one of the toilets the shower water would stop running and then take a minute to restart. Interesting when you have shampoo in your hair! Forgot to tell the desk about it.

Nice trail from hotel to their brewery and restaurant. Town is small but close to Highlands which offers more doing and restaurants. Liked being able to go to the lobby and get extra coffee pods, towels etc without having to wait for someone to deliver.

Really nice room, great pillows but need was pretty firm. Freezing a tower to make it an excels rating.

I grew up coming to Cashiers every summer and this place captures its charm and luxury very very well. Perfect location in town and so peaceful. We walked to breakfast at the food truck at the connected brewery and drank our coffee by the fire pit in Adirondack chairs in the shade. It was magical

Great location. Easy walking distance for different places to eat. Relaxing environment. Contactless check-in was easy and convenient.

Bathroom lighting was pretty dark. Combined with the dark paint it was not very well lit.

This property is clean with fresh updates that really reflect the grand inns of the area like high hampton, but also honors its history as a midcen motel.

Not a property issue - Cashiers needs better sidewalk connections. walking to the coffee shop two lots over is not easy and it should all be connected by foot.

Small family owned business- love it! The staff is exceptional! Beautiful and clean room. Big fluffy bath towels and the shampoo, conditioner, soap, and bath gel smell amazing and leave your skin so soft🥰 Lovely area with the hotel centrally located in a gorgeous quaint little mountain town. We will definitely stay with the Wells Hotel when in the area again. The Christmas scene that’s set up just a bit from the hotel is so pretty! Offers great photo opportunities. The rain shower head and no tub. After the long drive a massaging shower or long soak in a tub would have been awesome. But that is the only thing about this beautiful room that we didn’t care for. Not sure if the other rooms offer different options.
