We liked the calm, cozy appearance of Inn. The staff very kind, friendly, welcoming. The room was extremely clean. Of all the places we've stayed...Hilton, Hyatt, Best Westerns and a few Mom&Pop places...this is the cleanest place we've experienced in several yrs. The cleaning staff comes every day, the way it was before COVID. I took our towels to environmental service workers for clean ones. They were very kind and accommodating. When we returned to room that evening the room was as clean as the first time we saw it. I thought it was sweet..even our toiletries I left out were in straight line and surface clean underneath them. The price was cheaper than "chain" hotels and the location was excellent. My husband with his 2 canes walked downtown ,which begins right outside of hotel. We walked everywhere. We will be back soon.

We always stay here when we visit that area. The lady at the desk that checked us in (I didn't get her name) was from my hometown (small world). She was friendly & made us feel welcomed. We had an issue with our TV & she came up to look at it. She called the owner & his sons came by to replace it. They were very friendly & showed us how to work the remotes etc. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, showers have awesome water pressure & we never ran out of hot water. I love sitting in the rocking chairs looking at the mountains. We walked to the local pizza place to eat & listen to the music. I highly recommend this place.

We booked this inn after seeing it on youtube & checking out the ratings. On arrival we were pleasantly booked in by the owner & her new staff under training. We were assured all rooms were non smoking which seemed to be the case. Our room certainly was not used for smoking. We asked to change rooms as we wanted one up higher if possible which was easily altered by the staff. We enjoyed our stay equally due to the Inn & the town in general. Beds were really comfortable but pillows were a bit flat and small but we slept well. Traffic noise was no problem for either of us.

Getting in to the car pack initially on arrival with it being one way all around. Once done it was easy in future.

Exceptionally clean, well appointed and appeared to have been recently renovated. Every day we came back to a neat and tidy room, with great attention to detail. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loved that they left extra towels every day. Breakfast was pretty minimal but the facility was spotless.

There is very little to dislike! Breakfast ends too early for late sleepers like us, 9 am. To be picky, the shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower required multiple pumps to get a decent amount. Close to the main road, so there is some traffic noise.

I was called at 10:30 to see if I was checking out at 11am, which was my intent.(I’ve never had a motel do that). I asked if someone would be around at 11 to check me out and she said yes (FYI: my last visit no one was in the office at 11), at 10:50 my door key was deactivated, so I couldn’t get in to get the last of my things without a housekeepers help. I’m guessing the desk clerk probably wanted to leave and needed me out so she could go. I believe the desk should be manned until 11:15 or 11:30, so visitors can get help if needed at check out and door keys shouldn’t be deactivated until 11am or after. Except for this debacle, it was a good stay.

The property has obviously been kept up well and renovated at some point, but with that renovation having been done very well. The location is absolutely perfect--it is smack in the middle of Sylva, at the foot of the Jackson County Courthouse steps, and you can easily walk to anything in downtown Sylva, including several restaurants and breweries. The room was very comfortable and quiet at night, and was a great value for the stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel goes on my list of "definitely would stay here" hotels.

The in-room coffee service could have been a bit better (but I'm a coffee snob). There's not really anything else I didn't like, in particular.

The inn is a family run business and you could tell they took pride in it. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. You could walk to the town of Sylva because you're right there. Everyone was very friendly and made sure we had what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The in is a little bit worn but not too much. The traffic at night could be a little loud. So could the neighbors! Of course, that is any hotel you stay at.

The location is obviously great. People are always friendly.

Busy weekend, obviously fully booked. No hot water in the morning. Couldn't get soap out of countertop dispenser. (Bar also available so okay). Walls are thin so we could hear neighbors kids and dogs early in the AM. For whatever reason it seems like there are always a lot of smokers outside on the balcony. Not fault of hotel, just unpleasant.

We chose Blue Ridge Inn for a last-minute trip and this place was great. We just wanted to be near the breweries, so it was a perfect location. Nothing too fancy, but everything was really clean and the beds were very comfortable. We also liked being able to park right outside our room. my favorite parts were the snacks they had for sale and how nice the two girls were at the front desk. Thank you!!

Fantastic location, clean comfortable room and the room rate was reasonable. This is our 4th stay and we will be back. We love the Sylva area. So nice to be able to walk to 4 breweries and numerous nice restaurants.

Busy road by the hotel is load at times but that is the trade off of being so close to everything in the little town. The chair in the room was not comfortable but the desk chair was nice.
