Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte Arrowood

Friendly staff, Jenny and Doug at front. Clean and quiet rooms. Located just at the end of the exit ramp and near I 77 & I 485. Plenty of free parking. Great breakfast and the meal at Kickback was great. Hot, tasty and a good variety. Plus some free beverages! Well worth the amount paid for the stay. The hotel also had a gym and hot tub with an indoor/outdoor pool. We ordered a King room and they were all taken upon our arrival, so they upgraded us to a King Suite!

What's not to like? Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub. What really topped it off was that breakfast AND dinner were included. We stayed 4 nights and I wasn't disappointed in any of the meals. Let's not forget that if you're 21 or older you get 2 free alcoholic beverages at dinner time every day.

I wish the "bar" was open longer. It's only open during dinner. 5:30-7:00 pm.

The room was amazing for what I paid for! Definitely exceeded expectations in every way and is the best hotel we have every had the pleasure of staying in. Being on the 7th floor, it was awesome to see the sunset above the tree tops.

The bartender was rude and was so busy in conversation with someone else, she got my drink wrong. And our neighbors on the 7th floor were very rowdy and loud into the late hours. There was a vent that was open in our room that we could hear them very clearly through. We let the front desk know but they can only do so much. I wanted that high floor so we could get away from the noise so that was disappointing.

Location great, great vibes, request was accommodated. Accomodations comfy and amenities. Staff very professional and hip. Kudos. Thank you for late check out. Trying to sync flight n check out can be tedious. Always a great experience. Mother now 75 felt very secure so traveling with me on business, pleased. Ill be doing a formal review on our Travel section of Lifestyle Magazine. BEBE, Publisher

I didn't like the hold charge bc all charges should be transparent via Boking.com bc they list all charges w/ agreement w/hotel but understand. Hopefully there will be a work around for those who stay often so they arent stereotyped to trash a room but rewarded bc they are repeat customer who check out w/room in tact.

The room was very nice, we stayed on floor 7 with two queen beds and a comfy living area with our 4 year old, they had a complimentary buffet the evening we arrived and breakfast the following morning. They even gave me and my partner 2 free beverages each from the bar upon arrival. The pool was fun, my son loved it!

The only notable thing I could say negatively is about the hot tub, I was very excited to use the hot tub, but the suds that were forming in it were brownish-black, there was just a ton of gross residual leftovers, so we just avoided the tub.

The room was so clean and comfortable. I had a one room suite on the top floor. I was given a free drink card to enjoy a beverage from the bar...but I ended up not using it. Front Desk Staff was courteous. The room was quiet considering the hotel is directly off of a very busy interstate (I-77).

No fault of the hotel...but there were a lot of construction workers there and their big trucks took up multiple parking spaces directly in front of the building.

The room was clean, the beds were decent. Could use new pillows. The towels were not worn like most places you go to. The hallways were clean with the exception of one roach I saw in the reception area. The bathroom was moderately clean, however you can tell the showers do NOT get cleaned. It was great that breakfast was served every morning. The waffle batter should absolutely be changed, it's awful.

The powdered eggs. Yuck. But others seemed to enjoy it, I prefer an actual egg. I didn't not really like anything.

Nice spacious rooms. very nice pool and hot tub. The hotel and rooms were nice and clean. Good location. 10 minutes from Carowinds. Breakfast and dinner were included daily at the hotel as well as two complimentary drinks from the bar for adults. Staff were all very friendly with the exception of one kitchen staff during breakfast.

The bar wasn’t a typical hotel bar. It was more like just a counter you walk up to to get a drink. No seating at the “bar.” Wasn’t open very long either. Seemed to close right after dinner every night. That’s my only complaint.

very nice hotel lobby, great staff, great value. we were surprised to hear that we would have buffet breakfast and buffet dinner, popcorn as a snack and two drinks per night, very clean hotel. easy to find right off the highway.

the only negative was the lack of amenities in our room #202-we had no regular coffee, or bottled water or any sugar or creamer. no one cane and made the bed or changed the towels. not a big deal. we were there only 2 nights so we did not complain. the gym was small and very warm, we tried to change the temperature but us did not work.

the inside was beautiful & spacious. the room was as well. parking was decent. & it was nice that they included breakfast, dinner, & 2 drinks from the bar. 🙂

the price did change from what I booked online. my start was supposed to be $130 a night, it then changed to 150$ & then when I got to the hotel to check in, it was $200. they were not very understanding of that fact, but $50 was refunded at the end on my trip (24 hours later). I just wasn’t expecting all the changes for a basic, non upgraded room. the area the hotel is located is close by to some grocery stores, but not a good or even safe past of Charlotte, if my husband wasn’t with me, I wouldn’t have stayed.
