Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Ayrsley

The location was awesome and very cute.

The room smelled a bit like there could have been a water leak at some point almost like an old closet or basement and the covers were not completely stain free. There seemed to be old make up stains possibly on the sheets. The 3rd floor icemaker didn't work the entire visit. The parking garage would have been nicer if was connected to the hotel to avoid having to go walk across the street outside to get to your car or find street parking.

I love the location and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was stocked and neat!

I was looking forward to the indoor pool and it said it was closed for maintenance. From the reviews looks as if it’s been closed all year so that was a disappointment. The breakfast is not complimentary it’s $10 for bread, cereal, coffee and juice. They had a separate menu for a more costly breakfast and it was a 3/10. I do not mind paying for breakfast but at least make it worth it.

I loved the space that was provided in our Jr. Suite. My kids were able to enjoy their own space and television while my spouse was able to get the rest that she needed. It was a plus that the pool was open. It was not open when we booked it so I was a little worried but so glad everything turned out nice.

Parking is limited and it's not alot of spaces but we were fine walking a short distance.

Overall it is an excellent hotel. Clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, the room was super clean and it was quiet. The lobby is also appealing and the fact that there is parking on the street or garage makes it easier

Well I think I saw that we have to pay for breakfast. Most hotels I have been to have continental breakfast. I know this is the Hilton but maybe a complimentary breakfast on the first morning or the last day of your stay.

the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They were clearly well trained. The location and room was better than expected.

the sheets on the bed smelled musty almost like mildew. I was just too tired to consider changing rooms each night.

The parking lot outside of the parking garage is closed during the night so if you have a large vehicle there are no parking options. The parking lot was huge and empty so I saw no reason for it to be closed.

The Staff Was Very Friendly and each and everyone of them had a smile on their face. They were very helpful,plus every time we came to the lobby it's always someone there to help us if we needed anything.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We were never disturbed by outside or hallway noise. The staff was friendly. The location was perfect.

We weren't told the pool was closed until we got there. Housekeeping didn't pick up our trash during our stay; however, we may not have understood COVID protocol for requesting housekeeping.

The overall hotel is super nice with a lot of amenities, the hotel is close to a lot of great places within walking distance

There’s no room service and no valet parking
