We stayed for 3 nights and got to interact with several different staff members and they were all exceptional. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was great, the selection was different each day and excellent quality. The hotel was spotless even the public restroom on the first floor near the check-in area. We also liked that there were so many seating options near the pool.

Breakfast on Monday was a little disappointing, it wasn't as organized or well stocked as the weekend breakfast. Also, the parking lot isn't the best. Being it's shared with other buildings, there were times that we couldn't find a space when we came back from being out for the day. The room was a little small for being a king suite.

Excellent location for Matthews and very clean! Two restaurants in walking distance along with a Harris Teeter. Hotel bar open until 10pm. AC in the room excellent. Free breakfast was standard - scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, bagels, yogurt, cereal. Nothing to write home about, but free!

Pool is very lack luster for summer travel. It’s small, shallow, and located right at the parking lot with guests pulling in and out which means no privacy.

Great location - did not have to leave the area to get food or groceries if I did not want to. Amenities - updated amenities, could tell this hotel was newly built Design of the hotel - I liked that the elevators were secluded away from the rooms, the shower was very spacious, the tv allowed for streaming services

The cost of the hotel room was high and housekeeping did not work on Saturday so our trash built up and our towels/cloths were not replaced until after we checked out

I love where the property is located so you are not too far from everything. The King Suite was nice with a beautiful view, comfy bed , and overall spacious. I definitely enjoyed my stay and will be back again.

Well, I ran into a little hiccup when I first checked into my room. It had not been cleaned or received any type of service. However, the staff were nice about the situation and switched my room around.

loved the location. walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and hair salons. loved how clean and friendly the staff was. breakfast each morning was good. loved how the room had a mini refrigerator and even top stove as well as microwave. the sitting area in the room was perfect. super comfortable sofa to lounge on. in the lobby is a little shop where you can purchase drinks and snacks.

The rooms are comfy and guests can easily cast our own shows vs having to log in over again. Breakfast options are fresh, plentiful and delicious. The staff are all kind and they are always accommodating. This weekend was a full house but they managed to put me in a top floor room where I could rest undisturbed. I enjoy staying here when visiting family and I think this is my 5 or 6th stay here, Lots of good shops and a grocery store available.

Looks new, very clean, comfortable room with a sitting area, convenient to our location, staff was helpful and accommodating, decent breakfast bar

where they could have done better was the in-room coffee service. there was one super small sugar packet and one creamer per person and the coffee itself was poor quality. much better coffee downstairs but sometimes you just want a coffee first in the room. the rest was really good.

Location was great, near grocery store,pharmacy,restaurants and gas stations. Breakfast was good when there was enough. Hotel was clean overall and felt upscale with lobby decor and chandeliers. All staff encountered from front desk to breakfast attendees to housekeeping and maintenence were nice and personable. Loved the large windows and kitchen, even though I didn't need to use it.

Breakfast needs to last until it's over. Almost every morning there were complaints about food being out before 830-9am. Definitely need more parking spots for hotel. Guest should not have to park on the street down the street. If my 80yo grandparents drove here and had to walk from around the corner, we would never stay here again. It's a pet friendly hotel, which I didn't realize. Pets were barking during day and sometimes seemed like there was a light urine smell that was lingering.i would suggest placing large trash cans somewhere so guests can place trash and not have to wait for housekeeping the next day.

I loved the location and overall cleanliness. The main lobby was clean and smelled amazing. The outdoor patio area was also nice. The room was the perfect size for my family, and the stove top and dishes were a nice surprise.

The heated pool wasn’t heated at all. We were told it was broken. The breakfasts area was understaffed and always ran out of food and plates. The sweet lady did her best to keep things stocked but she definitely needed an extra hand. The pool area had no towels and when I asked for some I was given 3 and told “that’s all I have”. There were 6 of us plus another family out there that needed them. The pool filter was filthy as well. Housekeeping never came, and we were there for 5 days. We had to request trash bags and bag up our own trash and constantly request towels and washcloths. For as much as we paid, that was certainly disappointing.

Great location. Easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and the interstate. The rooms were modern, clean, and spacious. The whole family was impressed.

The doors slammed too loudly, you can hear when other guests would exit and enter their rooms. It didn’t bother us too much, as we travel with a noise machine to drown out the background.
