Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte Piper Glen

I live just 1/2 mile from the hotel. Because of plumbing damage, we could not use any water. So we checked in to the Residence for one night. We have travelled extensively in the past and I can honestly say this is the best facility we have ever been too. Clean, staff friendly and most of all the breakfast. The food was excellent and the server was extremely helpful and courteous. She not only brought our food to the table, but she asked if we wanted refills on coffee and juice. She also asked if there was any food we wanted seconds on. My just wanted more bacon and she brought another plate.

The toilet seat was for a child. Much too low.

AMAZING! Everything was beautiful. clean. I felt comfortable and safe. I actually took the time to look for something unacceptable and I found nothing! we booked the King Suite with the kitchenette. The kitchen part came with clean glasses and dishes. EVERYTHING was beautiful. The young man at the front desk was amazing. The breakfast was GREAT. There’s a lady who helps to assist in the breakfast area and she was AMAZING. We came to visit relatives in Charlotte and we have definitely found our go to place to stay!

We absolutely loved our suite!! The 500 sq. ft. room had everything we needed for us and our two grandchildren. A whole kitchen area with glasses, cups, plates, and all that it's needed for a stay over! The room was very clean! Right enough space for a family of four and the whirlpool was what my husband and I needed after a long drive and day! The children loved the pool!!

The room should have two TVs in a large suite instead of just one.

Overall everything there! Breakfast fantastic! Had some great extras, pool, basketball court. Best thing pet friendly!

Unfortunately the shower door would not close. When you got it to close, it was off kilt, which means that it had a gap, water would come out. All the pull out couch into bed, had old mattress and you could feel the springs. No vent for the bathroom.

The location is excellent. Plenty of shopping options around and close to the highway. Staff is friendly

the Decor. This is my second time staying at this location. During my first stay the individual living room chair was all stained and we had to get it switched out. This time one of the cushions on the sleeper sofa was stained and there was a used napkin in the chair when we pulled it out to sleep on it for the night. Because of these two instances I was not too confident that the room was thoroughly cleaned especially during this COVID era

Loved having a kitchen in the room, especially with said kitchen being stocked with pots and pans and everything else. The room was big and comfortable, the wifi was great quality, the breakfast was delicious, the list goes on.

It was great they had a full size kitchen. Even though the stove was a cooktop model, there was a convection oven above it. Next time I will get a two bedroom suite instead of a one.

There was nothing I didn't like. Had to ask my daughter to make the coffee cause I wasn't sure how to use the model in the suite.

The staff was so nice and welcoming. The lady who was in charge of the breakfast went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were set. The room was very clean and spacious.

Last minute reservation due to broken air conditioner. Loved the one bedroom suite with sleeper sofa for us and our 14 year old son. Very clean and comfortable, great "to-go", COVID friendly breakfast. We weren't there long enough to use the pool or any other facilities, but it was a very clean, comfortable hotel with very friendly staff.

It was clean and close to nearly every place I needed to go. Staff were excellent, especially the kitchen staff for breakfast.

Certain halls had a minor smell to them.
