Wingate by Wyndham - Charlotte Airport South I-77 at Tyvola

Hot breakfast, the gentleman with the gray hair and big blue eyes that monitors the breakfast area was very helpful and hospitable throughout my time there each day that I got breakfast, the calmness and low noise levels despite being close to the airport, and the overall serene ambiance in the lobby and corridors. My son was grateful for the 24 hour laundry facility and the availability of the fitness center.

I felt that the hotel was too secluded because short walks to get out to get something to eat did not seem possible. I do not drive. The other concern was that housekeeping service is not able to do cleaning while rooms are occupied, but towel and supplies for the room were delivered upon request. COVID prevention appears to be the reason.

First, the check-in was one of the easiest and fastest I have done in a long time. Especially for 3 rooms. Everyone was so nice and polite. The front desk clerks I encountered during my stay were so friendly. They greeted each time we came by. They were very helpful with any questions. The pool was very clean, and there were plenty of towels. Most hotels have little shops for snacks that are outrageous in prices but here they were no more expensive than going to a convient store. Our rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, not to mention the price for 3 rooms for 2 nights. Free breakfast is always a bonus, too.

Honestly, I don't have anything to say that my family wasn't happy with.

We had never stayed at a Wyndham hotel before and were very pleased with this hotel. We were originally going to stay in downtown Charlotte, but the price was entirely too high. we chose Wyndham because it was close to downtown, had free parking and breakfast. It was a great choice as this hotel met every expectation and then surpassed them. From the time we checked in to the time we left, the staff was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was exactly what we had requested when booking. We will stay in Wyndham hotels whenever we travel. We were more than satisfied with this Wyndham hotel.

Fortunately, we can say nothing.

Food was good, customer service was great. We felt catered to the whole time! It was great! We didn't have to ask for extra after the first time. It was just brought to us. We had no issues and it was clean and comfortable 😌

Could have had more luggage carts available. We couldn't find one for the hour before we checked out. Checking in at night was fine because it was downstairs when we arrived but in the morning we kept checking for over an hour and it never came back.

This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel within 4 months. I have no complaints. I booked two rooms for my family and I and had no issues. Anthony at the front desk was very pleasant and hospitable. When I called for fresh towels the young lady at the service desk was very pleasant as well. I once again liked not being awakened early in the morning for housekeeping. Upon check in, I was pleasantly surprised to learn I had received a room upgrade. The upgrade was wonderful as my husband is recovering from knee surgery and the extra space made him so much more comfortable. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The location was very convenient to the places we visited especially Carowinds. Every place we went was 10 to 15 minutes away. This will definitely be the first hotel I look to book whenever I'm visiting Charlotte.

we were upgraded to a suite so that was nice the beds were great the hotel is centrally located

some tv channels kept freezing i understand that with covid the rooms were not being cleaned but we stayed for a whole week and not having especially the bathroom not being cleaned is a bit unhygienic.... if i may suggest that for travelers staying more than for example three days that at least the bathroom gets cleaned.... i didn't have a problem with putting the towels and trash outside

The room was spacious

I was surprised at how nice and clean the hotel was because it was so inexpensive. The Hot Breakfast Buffet and Pool were added bonuses. The staff was very friendly, polite and accommodated all of our needs. I had a great stay and would definitely stay again in the future if I revisit Charlotte, NC.

No complaints, honestly.

Check in went smoothly and staff were friendly. I had heard about construction close by but it wasn’t going on while I stayed, so I enjoyed two quiet nights. The room was very clean and we had no issues. I was emailed that they did not accept guests living within 50 miles of the hotel and had read it in other reviews, so that wasn’t an issue as I am from out of town. It was nice to be aware of that, though.
