Hyatt House - Charlotte Airport

It was clean, and beautiful. The pool area was nice. The front desk clerk was awesome!

Dinner started at 5 and was supposing to continue until 10. The cook went on break at 7 and when she came back she said she was no longer cooking. IT WAS 7:30! Her excuse was it says 10 but she starts cleaning up at 8. We were confused and hungry but did not want an argument. If the cooking is from 5pm to 7pm please inform your guest. We had no plans to leave during our stay but had to go find food.

I loved the lady at the front desk she was pleasant and helpful. We needed extra towel, blanket she did not complain at all and provided them and stayed pleasant the entire interaction I stayed at another hotel on the way down and that hotel staff was horrid and the facilities were as well they were actually rated higher than this one, but not in my book Hyatt was definitely better staff attitude and customer appreciation. This is unfortunately a hard quality to find these days. They did great!

The hotel you could tell needed maintenance such as one elevator was completely shut down the other had not been serviced since 3-18-2021 the other 2 dates on it were 4-2-2020 and 2-21-2019, but you could tell the elevator was iffy from the sounds which is what made me look at the service dates. The picture showed a waffle machine it did not have any and the breakfast was there, but nothing like I am used to from a Hyatt Hotel. There was enough still to satisfy your hunger and let you get on your way.

This place is the best place I’ve lived in my whole entire career as it has the best HUMBLE SERVICES AROUND. I loved all the workers humility and kindness.

Find a way of managing some unfortunately rude homeless people who just walk in and go straight to the dining area and gouge themselves with the legal tenants break fast. By the time we get there, they will have finished most of the food. It’s high time you employed some security personnel to deal with this. Otherwise it brings down the outlook of Hyatt. Police were called in more than twice when we were there to come manage some of these individuals.

This was my second stay at the Hyatt House in Charlotte. We come for a national skate party called RITC. Both trips were pleasant and memorable. The staff is polite, efficient and helpful. The woman at the bar in particular was such a sweetheart both times and can mix her BUTT off!! Lol we will venture back to this location anytime we are in the area!

We did get woken up out of our sleep to the sound of a fire alarm. That was a bit displeasing and there wasn't much communication on the front. It did get me out of bed so that I didn't miss breakfast which happened to be quite wonderful. So other than the unscheduled wake up call, it was still a pleasant stay.

the breakfast is awesome! The room was amazing. We had a kitchenette, dishwasher, 2 very comfortable beds, and a very spacious room set up. The shower had great water pressure and the bathroom facilities were separated for more than 1 person to be utilizing a different appliance. ALL the employees I interacted with her superb, helpful, friendly and went above and beyond what I had expected.

Unfortunately the bar restaurant wasn't open but other employees suggested where we could go for dinner. Again your employees performed to well above any expectation!

Breakfast was amazing! The breakfast was hot fresh and delicious. They had a omelet station which was shocking and it was outstanding! Also I love how my room was made like a mini apartment. I see why they call it hyatt house. The staff were really nice. Even the front desk staff and the bartender lady. The room was clean.

I hate that the pool was not working due to out having electrical issues. Also they were supposed to have free cookies. They only had it the one time first day I csm

The friendly receptionist made a change after we viewed the room and needed a different room. The Hotel was just 20 mins from the convention center, that was great!

Breakfast had limited choices. The card I used to book was not the same card I used to pay, I let the staff know, however, both cards got charged and the front desk weren't helpful in resolving the issue. I ended up having to cancel that 1st card to stop me being charged twice by Hyatt house.. The 1st Room we were assigned had an odor, we asked for a change.

The lobby, breakfast, and room were nice. Really liked the layout of our rooms/space. The lighting in the bedroom was dim though. The staff were all very friendly and nice, the maintenance guy was very friendly and helped us carry luggage up stairs, due to elevator issues. Would recommend the hotel overall. Just need to address the issues, and would be much better.

The elevator had issues and we had to use the stairs. I talked to another guest that got stuck in the elevator for a while. The shuttle was not real reliable/on time and I had to wait outside a store for almost an hour to be brought back to the hotel. I was told the driver was caught in traffic when I called. The outside area needs to be cleaned/picked up daily, there was trash all around. Also, bar was opened later than we were told. The restaurant was never open, except for the hot breakfast.

I loved how spacious the King suite was, and it met every need for my fiancé and I! We enjoyed the continental breakfast, and Herbert made us both an amazing omelette. Also, I have never stayed at a more quiet hotel, I was actually able to get some rest. It was also very very clean, which I appreciated. My fiancé and I will definitely be back!

One of the house keepers opened the door unannounced on us while we were watching tv a few hours after we arrived. Lastly this is me nitpicking, but a smart tv with Netflix would be an awesome feature for customers. All in all, great stay.

The room was beautiful, clean, spacious, all the appliances worked, the bathrooms were cleaned, all staff was friendly and the kitchen staff was awesome especially the cook! He made some of the best omelettes I have ever tasted and he cooked the especially for me because I don’t eat pork! The front desk staff were all awesome, my hat goes off to all of them! The manager was really was nice and friendly and did everything possible for the Mighty Eagles fans of North Carolina Central University!!!!

Everything was great, no complaints!
