The Quality Inn Motel is nice and updated with a friendly staff and a great complementary breakfast. I recommend it. Several Stores and sit-down resturants and fast foods are within walking distance. Quality Inn is only a 4 minute drive to the Casino. My friend (TN) wanted to take me (FL) and another friend (KY) to the Charokee NC Casino, it's been 20 years since our Casino trip to Reno NV. So we found a decent priced room near downtown Charokee NC at the Quality Inn. I know your probably wondering .... well 3 of us lost or as I see it we donated $1020.00 to the Charokee Tribe. We won over a $2000 -- but you know ... ching, ching goes those slot machines, we spent over 16 hours (2 days) enjoying the atmosphere and the many other things to do besides ... Ching ching! Charokee Casino is very large and offers shows too. Great memories.

No shuttle service on weekends. Oh well ... it's only a 4 minute drive to Casino or to shopping downtown in Charokee

staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good except for the ceiling fans that cooled your breakfast off as soon as you got it. Heard several people complain about the fans. Our main complaint was that the outside needs a good pressure cleaning. Our balcony had a beautiful view of the river but it was really nasty. The rails and outside walls definitely needed a good washing. Also, each room should have at least 4 towels and two rolls of toilet paper. Other than those issues, it’s a nice hotel.

Clean and updated room and overall facility. Great breakfast. Beautiful back creek even thou our room was not facing it. Friendly and helpful staff.

No security cameras in parking lot or a lot of other places (I specifically looked for them after our incident). Our car got hit by someone overnight while parked but there was no way to find out who did it. Staff was very attentive and offered to call police for us. But for a tourist town, there really should be more safety measures.

The view and access to the river was great.

The A/C was not consistent, we had to turn it done really low and then soon as it would turn off the room would get pretty warm again, probably didn’t help that our bathroom vent wasn’t working either so the heat from showering made it warmer in the room. Also, at times there was a spoiled smell near the frig at the balcony door, not sure if something got left in the frig too long at one point or it just never gets cleaned well. We were only staying 2 night so I was able to manage the smell for the most part with the Lysol we brought. We were able to check in and hour and half early so I hated to ask about changing rooms. The view was really nice and beds were comfy.

It was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We liked being able to sit out on the balcony to see and hear the river. The pool was nice and we liked the easy access to the river. We liked that there was breakfast. We enjoyed seeing the ducks and geese, and having the ducks come over to us, especially the little ducklings.

Ants got in and were crawling all over the counter that the coffee pot is on, and across the floor leading over to the trash can. There was a horrible dead animal smell that would blow by when we'd try to sit out on the balcony, so we'd end up having to go back in. You can smell it up at the pool too. There's something dead down by the river somewhere, but we weren't upset at the hotel about that because we know that's just nature and nothing to really do about it. It's just a very unpleasant smell.

The beds were firm and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The coffee was hot and very good.. The location was fantastic! Far enough from the main drag to not be bothered by traffic, yet just minutes away from everything. We had a ground floor room that backed onto the Oconalufte River. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio listening to the water. Our handicap room had a raised toilet with grab bars in the right places.

Only 2 negatives. One was that the shower was not handicap accessible. Two was the breakfast never varied, always eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, and pastries.

It was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The night staff was very rude, mean and nasty.. I stood in the lobby for about 5 minutes before the staff acknowledge me. And when they did they told me give them a few minutes before they get with me although I was the only guess in there while they was talking amongst themselves. It would have been nice if they had acknowledged me when I first came in but unfortunately they didn't. I felt like because I am a black female that's the reason why they took their time serving me.

The staff were amazing! We walked in to a warm welcome and greeted with a big smile. The room was perfectly clean. The bed was very comfortable and felt brand new! The bathroom was spotless. The private balcony over looking the pool was very peaceful. We had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was great! Vending machines were easily accessible and very good priced. We actually got 3 items for $3. Parking was easy. The hotel lobby is very nice, clean, and welcoming.

The only negative thing I would have to say was the room had a very musty smell when we arrived

Great location, quite and relaxing. Despite the facility being a bit dated, it was clean and served our needs. Staff was great and friendly. Nice view of river and ability to relax and listed to stream.

A bit dated. Bathrooms need upgrade, but still clean. Would have liked outside hot tub. Maybe some onsite activities, bar/ restaurant maybe.

We loved everything and housekeeping was excellent and thorough. Very clean!! Excellent room with comfy bed and excellent view of river.

No microwave in the rooms. Front desk said it was because of former customers making meth. I had to take my leftovers from supper up to the main lobby to reheat it and to heat a cup of water to make hot chocolate. No acceptable for a very nice hotel chain. Customers should not be punished for the faults of former customers. Jacuzzi tub jets need fixed as only two worked properly. Also didnt like their watered down hot breakfast. Scrambled eggs and sausage gravy looked like it had water all in it. Needs someone that can really cook
