Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Hendersonville SE - Flat Rock, an IHG Hotel

The whole experience was first rate. We were greeted in a friendly, prompt & courteous manner. The room was neat as a pin, very clean and the accoutrements were stylish, upscale and in wonderful condition. The weather was rather inclement, so we happily took advantage of the microwavable food choices and stayed cozy warm in our room The breakfast was delicious - totally did NOT expect a full breakfast - WONDERFUL surprise!! Check out was very easy, and we were sad we only stayed one night - it was all we needed....

NOT a Thing!! (Except maybe the freezing temperatures - which you could not control!! ;) Being in from Florida, 25 degrees in the morning was shocking to the system!!)

Friendly staff. I have been there twice, the second time I had a friend with me with walking problems and the staff made sure we had a first floor room. The first time I was there I was stuck in a storm and had to stay an extra day, again the staff was great. I am headed there again this weekend with my husband and we are looking forward to our stay. It is so nice to have a fridge and microwave, and the location is perfect for all our needs and wants.

I wish there was a hand held shower nozzle. Also, the Lyft we ordered (app on my cell phone) never showed up. This is not the hotel's fault, but if you depend on Lyft when you go out for dinner and drinks, - - don't depend on it in this area. The same thing happened in Brevard.

The room was clean and comfy. I am adamant about a clean room and I was happy that this one was. Everything in room looked nice. Had an iron and hair dryer.

Front desk guy stepped away for a bit longer than I thought necessary. Need someone there at all times IMO. TV remote was weird...worked, then didn't...then did... Seemed the price was jacked up for the apple festival. I looked at the next weekend's prices and they were lower.

Staff was friendly, check in was very easy. Room was very clean and the bathroom and shower were exceptionally nice. The variety of breakfast foods offered was great and included hot food. Location was good. Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast was good. I liked that it has a variety of things to choose from: fruit, cereal, coffee, bagels, eggs, sausages, etc. The egg omelet was not too great, but everything else was good.

I liked everything, the A/C was quiet, the room was super clean, the room had enough lighting and everything was working well. The carpet was clean.

Check in was smooth, room was comfortable and clean, visible from the interstate, front desk attendant was friendly and very knowledgeable of local restaurants. Full complimentary breakfast had lots of GF options for my son.

The staff was super welcoming and accommodating even during inclement weather! I loved the lobby area with plenty chairs to congregate and play cards.

I wish there could be been a little more variety for breakfast. Maybe adding fresh fruit or a waffle maker.

The only problem was there were some others that had booked a room by ours that decided they wanted to start cussing and arguing outside our door at 3 a.m. that Sunday morning.

Didn't like the layout chair's around pool. They aren't comfortable and there is no way you are going to turn over to tan the back side in them. Tables need a up lift also. I think since covid that someone could call your room and ask if you need any towels ect.

The location was great, the room was clean, we really appreciated the layout of the rooms.
