Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel

this hotel is beautiful! From the moment you walk into the grand lobby to the time you get to your room it is very clean and modern. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable. The room is spacious and well designed. The housekeeping staff, or friendly and attentive. The Bellman was friendly and efficient.

The hot tub is the only thing we did not like about our stay. The hot tub has been out of order for two years according to the front desk staff. They are trying to repair it. We were very disappointed by this because we were very much looking forward to enjoying the hot tub during our stay. We wish it would have been fixed.

The facility was so nice! The Christmas decor was very beautiful. The bartender was very kind and the room was very nice as well! We loved looking around and playing table shuffle board in the game room! The fire pit was also very nice!

I specifically looked up a hotel for a hot tub and we were so sad that it was out of service! The restaurant was not up to par. For the price we got hard rolls, the lobster dip was mainly onions and the food I actually sent mine back because the mushroom ravioli was not done and no where near worth the price. The wait staff was nice, but the food needs a lot of help!

Everyone asked if I was being helped or they always greeted me. Bartender was incredibly friendly even when I saw him deal with belligerent impatient guests. The waitress was wonderful during breakfast! The breakfast was sooooo good and very reasonably priced! The views! Wow! Walking through the garden was a zen experience! The

I’m not a golfer so I’d like to feel more that your space is just as much for me than others! Perhaps fun signage that reaffirms guests simply passing through saying “ not a golfer? No problem- take a stroll through the gardens” I was allowed of course. But inclusive signage/language might create a less daunting experience for the non golfing family.

We had dinnner and it was fine. We love the grounds, the room and we know it is a place that we can feel comfortable and safe --- and that is why we have stayed many time. My only issue is: when I checked out I was charged for a service I did not use. It took quite a while for the hotel staff to "fix the problem". (Someone signed my room on a bill. I asked the receptionist why they don't keep the receipt when someone signs to a room and have it available/ attached to the room invoice document upon checkout. If I had not asked for a copy of my room charge, I would have left the hotel and my credit card would have been charged for this expense - which would not have been mine. That was somewhat disturbing.

I’ve stayed here many times over the years, and always appreciate the immaculate housekeeping, the comfortable rooms, the peace and quiet. Every member of staff is friendly and super helpful. It’s a serene setting, and you’ll sleep like a bear.

The restaurant situation not great. I ordered a salad, among other things. Wrong salad, another wrong salad, an awful salad. I know this sounds petty, but when you’re being charged $14 for a salad, I think you’re entitled to a little bit of hope that it might contain the ingredients promised, and be reasonably fresh. The server was just phenomenal, and not their fault. Oh well. If that’s the worst thing that happens to you, I guess you’re getting out of this life pretty easy, right?

The room was very clean. I loved having a glass shower door and not the shower curtains. The rooms are spacious and really well designed. This time I had the opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant on site. The food was delicious. But for me what I appreciated and loved the most was the exceptional customer service from all staff. From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, we felt welcomed and appreciated.

Everything and I mean everything was absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe just how beautiful and fancy everything was. It was so good in fact that we begged the staff to extend our stay for another day because we just were not ready to leave.

If I want to be picky. I guess I was a bit disappointed the hot tub was under repair. But everything was absolutely outstanding. There was nothing really to dislike at all.

The dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Top quality staff and food. We loved eating at the Hotel. We were given a free breakfast by the front desk and the breakfast was delicious.

I didn't like the fact that we could've saved a lot of money if we would've booked direct and not through Booking.com. We went to Furnitureland South and the Hotel has a deal if you go there. Book direct and you get a better price and a free breakfast!

Everything was great, wonderful food that can be found at many different parts of the hotel. Hotel is within driving distance of the hotel.

Only one rude staff member on the golf course. Could have been nicer to a first timer seeing other people drive on the greens. P.S it was my first time didn't even know what the greens were. Also, the spa kind of runs on there on time not very coherent with the times listed at the hotel. The staff however was very nice and understaning.
